I like four of those transparent plastic Sanwa balltops but I’m not feeling the pee-yellow or blue balltops. The blue seems a bit dark. (I’m liking the green better than Semitsu’s green bubbletop.) Feels like the yellow should be a warmer color and that a light blue balltop should be an option.
The Sanwa metal shaft covers definitely look better than the custom metal covers I’ve seen… I just hope they’re corrosion resistant! I’d be more likely to stick with the black plastic covers simply because they go with any color combination.
Damn while thier at it they should remake all those rare sanwa buttons, joysticks and accessories. I didn’t really expect more after buying the clear buttons.
The bubble-tops are better if you want to go for a light-up balltop since they catch the light better. Still, having a crystal-clear Sanwa balltop is very nice. I like the metallic shaft covers. The clear/silver one will go nicely with my VLX.
I just want 24mm clear buttons.
Well, that and clear OBSN-24/30s as well.
OOOOOhh shit! Sanwa really stepping their game up now. One thing I love about Sanwa is the quality of the plastic they use in comparison to say Seimitsu.
Those clear balltops looks gorgus! They remind me of Jolly Ranchers.
Also, thank God they got the right colour for the green balltops. I hate the florescent version made by Seimitsu.
Does anyone know if KNserts will show up that ugly plunger structural pattern when lit or will they lit it just the right amount?
In case it screws up, adding extra resistors do the job right? Anyone tried to know what values works best?
KNserts generally cause the internal patterns to show on the buttons they are lighting up. I recommend putting the buttons all in at the same angle (as I did for the panel in the picture that I posted a few posts back) so that they look uniform.
Just to be clear (no pun intended), the Sanwa clear buttons have caps in them so I can place the custom button pictures in them (like the Seimitsu screw buttons)?
