Do these have the same feel as OBSF-30s? Or do they have the same clunkiness that 14-KNs have?
JDM is my favorite.
I assume they feel the same as regular OBSFs since they seem to have the same spring.
I bought some clear Sanwa buttons for my Hori VLX too, just so I could be part of the gang!

The buttons feel exactly like the standard OBSF-30. The click sounds and feels a bit louder, perhaps with the added plastic, but it feels identical otherwise.

You can see the clear and standard Sanwa 30mm buttons share the same microswitch.

I popped a Seimitsu PS-14-KN in for comparison. It’s sitting in the LB spot.
god damn you.
i’ve been thinking of replacing my current vlx with some clear buttons but decided to hold off against that.
now you have me convinced.:bluu:
still, $4.50+ for one button is too much so i’ll probably either go with rollies + sanwa microswitch or seimitsu ps14-k snap ins.
anyone know how the ps-14k snap ins feel compared to sanwas? i hate the feel of the ps-14 kns.
Those prices will drop when they are officially released. Those are simply sample runs from Sanwa so distributors can get a look at them and see how many they want to order to sell. Arcadeshock just happens to be selling their samples, which are supposed to be withheld until the official release of the product.
GAAADDD DAMN!!! those buttons looking fresh…Good thing i was being lazy about doing LED mods on my TE. Also mad tight I didn’t get the white clears before it was sold out.
-Waiting for september.
im loving the feel of the buttons so far and i havent even played a game on em yet… if i had my eyes closed I couldnt tell the difference really. I have a set of the original OBSC-30s and to me they have a different feel from the OBSFs.
Do you mean to say that there was a version of the OBSC-30 that came before the version that’s being released now?
The translucent plungers are what make these worth it over the seimitsu snap ins. Worth $4.50 per button? Harder to say. Still, I see picking up a set of these as well
Only four colors were made.
Red and Blue and Green and Yellow.
Solid color Body.
Solid color Plunger.
Clear colorless Plunger Cap.
Sanwa OBSC-30 and OBSC-30RG has Seimitsu counterpart.
Seimitsu PS-14-GN(クリーン) and PS-14-GXN(クリーン).
Oh wow. I never knew. Thanks for the info. And it’s good to hear that the new ones feel just like OBSF-30 buttons.
Must… resist temptation. I love how the clear plungers come together.
Toodles… Did the KNsert mod to the sanwa clears… they work perfect!
did a quick write up on it…

…
WOW! I really want some of those buttons now! you did an awsome job on your TE! The way you did the wiring is SICK!
YEAH just bought 10 of these for my TE and the new art! 6 clear, 2 TL black (for PPP and KKK) and 2 TL red for Start/back! Can’t wait to get these installed!!!
I would love to see the blue ones installed in a Chun Li TE-S. I wonder how closely the shades of blue match.
hey folks, I was hoping someone could answer a question for me.
I’m using a Madcatz TES stick with stock buttons.
Unfortunately the connection between the wire and one of the buttons has sheared off, I was hoping to purchase a connector similar to the one shown in the picture posted by Titan_X.
I would like to know where I can purchase something like this and what is the name for that type of connection.
Thanks
