That’s cool. Yeah, I think GG is really something I need taught to me. I’m mildly ok with Dizzy and I want to learn how to use Chip. But I’ve never played a fighter that takes so much split second decision and chain combo. I mean, I had problems with Killer Instinct, and now I’m suppose to use Chip! 
Also it doesn’t help I bought it on XBOX for the Live features, then learned it with the XBOX controller, then bought a PS2 controller converter and totally messed up how I play the game. -_-
But someone good teaching me would be really helpful. I’m all for getting together sometime.
which arcades have Guitly Gear xx reload in San Diego? only one i know of is at SDSU aztec center…it’s a decent arcade there. no comp though, only in T5. sdsu’s has a pretty good CVS2 machine, MVC2, XmvSF (best working machine they have there), T5 is always working perfect there, 3rd strike is there, i believe Alpha 3’s there too. and they have GG xx reload always working pretty good. i think it’s a better arcade than nickel, chula, plaza, and mission. all games are a quarter, except cvs2 and t5 is 50cents and a quarter to continue best out of 5 rounds.
shitload of competition when i used to go to school there. not so much now cuz fighting games are dying out.
3s sticks and monitor suck at sdsu.

Yeah I’ve played phobos a couple times before. Mainly back when he was playing baiken though, Before his new jam hotness.
Good shit. I’ve got #R on pc and I modded my ps2 so I can play korean import #R. Dizzy is my main so if you ever have questions with her i can definately help. And I know how everyone in the game is meant to be played even if I cant execute high level play with everyone. As for chipp, he is very tough as a first character to learn to play but can be very dangerous when well played.
Not sure i’ll post this question for some of the guys in sd who frequent the arcade scene alot. Since I have a good stick and a copy at home I usually just play at home for free against people. I’ll post up once i have an answer though.
I know how to play GGXX#reloaded , SSBM , SF2 , KI 1/2 , and Doa4.
Sweetness, those are the games I play a lot. Well, aside from KI andI don’t own a 360. But generally any DOA, SSBM, SSFII/CvsSNK2, most SNK games and Guilty Gear I’m always down for playing people at. Eventhough I may be worse than some at some of them I don’t care if you don’t mind. -_-
But sorry I couldn’t go to Plaza (Parkway?) cuz I went to Tekken God’s. I’m free most any day though if you are heading somewhere.

Maybe if we get together again sometime I’ll bring sometthing else. I would have today but I didn’t know what people liked or if I needed to. Any game I’ve ever mentioned that I play I have the system and game for so if someone wanted to play it but didn’t have it and we were getting together, I can always bring it. It didn’t seem like DOA was a big favorite though. But maybe if sometime I brought it and showed you a few things, you might actually get into it. I know I didn’t like it when I first tried it but its easily my favorite 3D fighter now (as I say that and suddenly a bunch of people think lesser for me for it -_-;). And I do know people who play it with arcade sticks with others.
Also Smash Bros is very big right now…basically there’s a lot of fighters being made that have tournaments, just not arcade machines. And I’m a pretty damn good SSBM player who’s actually been in tournaments…

Heh, that’s cool. I’d opt for that most of the time myself. But I’m really trying to meet people atm so arcades also sound like a good idea to me. But if anytime you want to teach a newbie at GG, I’d be more than willing for a little help.

that’s right. it’s as if people were to play pocket fighter against one another Heck, i stil play samsho5 special on my PC every so often when I’m not working (sucks xbox had to get reg SS5 rather) I also have Guilty gear for the PC too. I’ve been playing the game for a while and could say I’m failry good with chip, sol, kuradoberry jam (mainly sol) and I think that’s it; haven’t been playing as much as I’m more of a 3S guru (crazy ass akuma fighter)
