It was cool meeting a bunch of you guys last night. We got lost for like 2.5 hours but managed to keep a good attitude about it and just enjoy the ride. Eventually we found a bunch of houses with numbering close to that of your place and decided that I somehow must have forgotten to write down a turn. We found the place shortly thereafter.
Hopefully by next wednesday I’ll have enough of a grasp of wtf I’m doing to be willing to play. I still haven’t even bothered with online. It just doesn’t feel right playing online when you don’t have a real grasp on all 3 characters in your team. The only guy I kind of know how to use is Taskmaster, and I never played MvC2, so I’m still not used to the concept of using assists.
To top it all off, I’m just bad at fighting games in general. I mash like crazy.
BTW, I watched a lot of the Taskmaster players last night and none of you were using Trag’s BnB combo. It’s wayyyy more effective than a launcher combo and easy to execute once you’ve gotten it down.

Another thing that probably wont be very efficient. Odds are people will learn that task can do this and just never pushblock assists.

Also, I asked some one about this last night but he was playing matches so he didnt really have the time to answer, but I’ve found that sometimes if you use webswing with taskmaster on a crouched opponent and then hit j.S as you come down that it will occasionally hit on the other side of him. Is he out of hitstun from the webswing does that so it can mix up, or what? Is there any way to consistently do this?
Hmm, you use Taskie too? I’ve watched that BnB vid a few times but I forgot about it after awhile. My go to move is done whenever i hit an assist and connect with L pokes, I’ll hit confirm it into M, H, Charging Star, S, air M, air M, air H, air S, Air H arrows, M+H hyper. It’s like autopilot easy and it does like 520k.
You should get online. I played ranked my first day. Although there is lag, luckily Marvel allows looser timing unlike SSFIV so it’s all good.

Mikey beat Genghis, and had Shady 2-0 when Shady came back to win 3-2. Genghis battled his way back through NanoBoi, Mikey and then defeated Shady 4-2 4-2.
ShadyK put SiN in losers and SiN left early and was DQed.
Note : After this tournament, Genghis is 12-0 against Clockw0rk in tournament play. He has not lost a single round =O"
