guessing your shit ringed huh? happened to me twice untill i got the Jay Z edition xbox 
I fixed the rrod xbox, but I put in a dvd drive of a different xbox. The Xbox knows it’s not the same dvd drive and will only play movies.
This is also the 5th RROD xbox I’ve had to deal with.
edit: BUT I HATE PS3 MOREEEE
