I went ahead and put in an order @ Play-Asia since they have the 15% off sale going on (and I predict this game is going to cost $40 whenever it comes out in the US anyway). Guess I’ll find out for myself if you have to pay to play it online since no one anywhere could answer my question…
SNK games minus neogeo stuff have almost all been 30 bucks since dreamcast days. You still get the game earlier than us, but just fyi.

The Metal Slug Anthology was $40, and this game seems to be more on the scale of that than any of the past Neo-Geo collections, but time will tell how much they will sell it for here, that is if they ever decide on a release date…
i got my copy of Samurai Spirits: Rokuban Shoubu from play asia today, but tenka doesnt run on hd loader :sad:, this piss me off because i bought this game mainly because i never played tenka :mad:
hardly any (if any) of the snk compilations work on the hd loader.
if you wanted tenka that badly you should have just got the stand alone version which does actually work on the hd loader perfectly

maybe we’re using different versions, true say on metal slug that works perfectly, no kof game works on mine not without freezing bar 2003
actually if I recall there were some issues with HD loader and Tenka, course this was from guardcrush.
This is really unfortunate the game isn’t being played anymore. I love watching SS6 matches. Is it really that unbalanced? That sucks.
I still love samsho 5 special and samsho 2 though. I never played tenka however.

oh well…, the good news is that i have my new copy of tenka, and it works on hdloader 
anyone managed to get a stick wired via the GC port to work on this game on the wii? I’ve seen reports of it being possible… wiimote SUCKS…
luckily I’ve got the game on my ps2, but my friend has it on wii.
I wonder if they’re going to develop a new version of this compilation from the ground up for U.S audiences (ala KoF Orochi Saga) considering this delay. Though after hearing reports that the Japanese collection is amongst the “inferior” half of SNK’s compilations (along with the LB & Japanese Orochi Saga ones) this might be a good thing.
Hopefully the reason they are delaying it is because they’ll be including SSVS like they promised.
I don’t see any other reason why a game that has been out in Japan since July has to be delayed until March in US.
