Yeah but the writeup section leaves much to be desired. And sooner than later, we’ll need more writeups on AZ.

I was looking more for character specific stuff than anything.

To compile stuff for SS6, I would need standartised special move name translations, that I will use everywhere. For that, I need to finish my SS6 guide. Im not very interested in working at it, since I dont see netplay for SS6 in the near future, and I dont have scene where I live. I can archive all the txt files with SS6 character info that I gathered, and send it to you though

Tried playing it…and Mame just shows up in garbled chunks of shit. This is someone else’s pc so it may be because of the video card.

EDIT: Found out the problem. I need to use the GDI graphic option but I don’t know how to access it on this particular Mame. Any answers? I’m on XP if that helps.

Edit 2: Fixed it. I had to re-use an ini file.

It’s just slow now but I think that just his graphics card so I think I can manage.

Is there a way to overclock this.

Dunno, I think you can play with “Emulation Speed” parameter once MAME++ version will come out.

Btw, the red/green/yellow polygon chunks garbage is already fixed, you will get this fix in MAME 0.136u2 release

MAME 0.136u2 is out, and I already compiled it.

To put short, SS64 is playable, its camera was fixed; green/red polygons in both games were fixed too

So Samurai Shodown 5 special is still not included in the US version huh? That’s fucking retarded.

Its too violent for nowadays children, since you can cut one pixelated sprite in two pixelated sprites, with some red pixels appearing in process. Plus, its too balanced to get included into SNKP anthologies - its too good game to be released by them.

SS was never made for childern. How could it be too balanced to be included? Isn’t that supposed to be a good thing? Having it not released because it’s so good is an idiotic excuse. Also, how good is SS6 for different tournaments?

Yeah… SS was actually made for children. The whole market was then was “children” .

I think it’s bad to assume that what is give as a reason is the reason behind a decision. I would bet the farm that economics was the reasoning behind every decision made when it come to this franchise.
