When playing Skarlet I usually get nothing but good messages… but when I play as Kenshi or Freddy I almost always get hate mail.
Neither of them has good wakeup options or good defensive options so when fighting someone who is extremely aggressive all I do is combo them to full screen (b,f+2 with Kenshi, Double/Triple Hell Claws with Freddy) and keep them there. But playing the character smart apparently is simply spam, running away and, my favorite, blocking too much. Apparently no one’s told them that throws can’t be broken when blocking, so if I block too much, throwing is definitely a nice answer. But then again, stay the hell away from me.
So far I’ve only gotten two messages from people I’ve played against online and both of them have been complementary. I did have one guy use his headset though who used Kabal and spammed his low blades the entire time. He sounded extremely high and whenever I did hit him he’d go “AwwwwWWWWW DUUUUUUUDE WHAAAAAAAAT!!”
Rock_the_fiasco is by far the saltiest person ive played to date. Weeks ago I played him and beat his character twice. He sends a message saying im gunna get whooped, or something to that effect amd he picks kano. He beats me and leaves the fight.
He sends ‘i got ur bitch ass ur terrible blah blah blah’. This pisses me off, I resend a fight request and he denies it and leaves the room. I dont see him again until today in koh… I beat him twice and babality him. I send him ‘cmon, you’re better thsn that’ he says he knows.
After beating 2 other people he sends me, ‘your main sucks’, and I respond ‘im not blocking against u’. He says lmfao yea right and we fight, and again im beating him without blocking, I get him into my xray and he rage quits!! Haha, I send a message ‘hahaha’ to him and then he begins to go off. ‘i did yo sorry ass a favor. You barely beat someonea I just started using an hour ago? Youre fuckin pathetic. Go fall and break your neck, I hate dumbass people’
Lol I tell him hes salty n should play a different fighting game. He sends, ‘invite me so I can rape your ass real quick bitch’ like 3 or 4 times so I humor him and do. Out of about 7 games he wins 2 and I stop playing. He says ‘jax and kano raped that ass.’
I once was called a Noob spammer when I beat the guy only having thrown about 4 shadows the whole fight in a Ranked Match. The most I did was corner infinite him
I find it funny when people complain that you block too much as if blocking were some sort of evil thing.
I hate that a lot of people haven’t outgrown making up rules as if everyone is supposed to follow them. “You throwing scrub”, “you block too much”, “you spam projectiles”, as if it were my problem.
MY favorite is when they say I block too much, because I don’t fall for random torpedos, teleports, force pushes or dive kicks. I always reply saying “Oh, I’m sorry. I wasn’t aware that I was supposed to let you hit me repeatedly with every move you randomly throw out. Didn’t know the purpose was to let you win and refuse to play smart.”
I played tag against some guy, choosing basically random characters. Ended up beating him 2-1 and he quits. I thought they were decent games, and as I was typing “GG” he writes me “Spam much?” I answered “…so?” He responds with “You’re trash.” So of course, my response was “Then beat me.” He responds with a paragraph of shit, telling me how awful I am, and ending with something like “no matter how many times you win, you will always suck.” Literally laughed out loud at that one . Responded to his wall of text with “OK, thanks” and I guess he was out of insults.
By the way, the first match I used Cage and Jax…is it even possible to win spamming with those two?
I actually want to master Kung Lao and shit JUST to make kids rage online. It’s a fact that the MK9 online community is full of 9 year old scrubs who bitch about everything, I want to take advantage of it while I can.
Guy who I won’t put on blast (but whom I have already played and defeated with my main before) challenges me after I post that I’m trying Freddy out. He picks Sub Zero and gets subsequently zoned out in an extremely sad manner. He then counterpicks with Mileena, proceeds to win then messages me saying “Fucking Freddy scrub, why don’t you pick someone who requires skill?” Then proceeds to put me on ignore.
Let me reiterate that he challenged me after I posted that I was trying Freddy out, then complains when being zoned out and sends me hate. Awesome logic, dude.
So I fought this dude, post patch, with Freddy. He was not pleased.
He sent me a message in Spanish, saying that I ran away all day (more like I zoned him out). I told him to basically “come at me bro” and he replied with a message that I have no idea what it means. And I speak Spanish. But for sure it was salt.
“Me la pelaste” was the message. I’m sure it could have something to do with his penis. But I’m extremely confused.
So after leaving devastation being around certain players I heard alot of salt being thrown around… This certain player was beaten and after the match he immediately said it was cuz of the input bug and not his human error, nor did he give the other player credit… Top competitors shouldnt be like this. I laughed when I overheard him saying it tho. Haha
Hey, we all get a little salty from time to time, no? I’ll admit to getting mad at teleport spamming Raidens or Elbow Dashing Reptiles because the two skills are damn near impossible to punish online with the input lag.
But, I’ve also gotten my share of hatemail. My favorite being a Raiden player who tried to cheese me as I was playing Quan, trying to learn him in regular 1v1 so I swapped over to mean old Uncle Cyrax and did the 75% reset which of course caused him to ragequit and send me hatemail claiming “how cheap Cyrax is with combos like that” when he is playing Raiden a character who, I feel, has an extreme advantage over Cyrax with the teleport and aaSuperman alone. Needless to say, he proceeded to send me countless ivnites and “rematch me u pussy” messages. I just ignored him since, hey, I did what I wanted to do. Piss off a cheesing Raiden.
I dusted a shitty Raiden player with Sub-Zero the other day who loudly complained as the match ended, sending me a message to “die you fuck”. So I sent him “xoxo <3 <3 <3 wanna cuddle l8r?” That drove him fucking crazy lol
