Probably not gonna catch this week because my sleep schedule right now has me going to bed at 10p at the latest and getting up around 6am and frankly, I kind of want to keep it this way, easier to look for jobs and be awake when people call.

Well, it’s official: I’m too wired to go to sleep from the tournament. I’ve been awake for two hours since the stream went off the air and I don’t feel tired. I’m going in my head through my matches, watching the stream archives already to see what I did wrong and right and my mind is doing its thing where I’m going over multiple scenarios in my head and things I can do and I can’t turn it off right now. And I’m loving every second.
I envy you guys a lot because I like competing with others and learning from my mistakes, but my circumstances prevent me from doing that as often as I’d like. I like fighting people and trying to figure ways around the opponent. But I don’t get to do that outside of online to begin with (and that’s why I started recording my matches so I could analyze them). As good a player as many think I am in SG, I have a lot to learn in general but no way to really learn it here without going into unwanted Capcom territory… I reeeeally don’t want to put one more second into Marvel because it was a 100% wasted effort, and so was AE and MK9 for that matter.
Playing online on GGPO is the closest I’ll ever get to having some good and intense competition, and I will forever be grateful.
Next stop: actually going to a Salty Cupcakes. My wife wants to go, so all we need is to find random shit to do in Cali to fill out some time, go Thursday night to Salty Cupcakes, drink boba tea and have some fun and learn stuff, the go back to being a tourist.
And I swear, if you guys don’t show up when I’m in town, I will come to your house and I will drink all of your milk so you can’t eat it with cereal in the morning. And don’t think I will. I LOVE MILK. I might even eat your cereal with it. I hope it’s chocolate so the milk turns into chocolate milk.
I haven’t been able to go to salty Cupcaks lately but I will be there for sure next week!

I feel guilty because I live in Oxnard and I haven’t been to Salty Cupcakes. Haven’t even played the patch. Haven’t been able to go because a) I don’t have a ride (somewhat) and b) I haven’t made time.
