SALTGIRLS 2: The New Age of Ranters (Closed! Goodbye! Stay Salty)

I don’t like how a lot of combos I’m coming up with are character specific. I also don’t like how the infInite protection thing kicks in quite often when attempting to create shit. I won’t even be looping anything and see this shit.

Fuck combo breakers.

A lot of people don’t like how Cerebella is defending her family because her family is the bad guys.

Not like Ms. Fortune’s family were angels. They were a gang of thieves and got got when they stole from the mob. No one’s other than Cerebella is innocent here. Fan interpretation is usually wonky anyway

Yeah I definitely agree with you, sorry if that wasn’t clear.

Unfortunately plenty of people still have that Saturday Morning Cartoon reasoning where anything that is good for the bad guys is awful and requires punishment. Not a useful lens for characters like Cerebella (or anyone with more than one layer to them).

This is totally irrational (And thus the appropriate thread), but I am getting uncomfortably angry with the Double buttslam assist. I was playing Solo-Painwheel and ran into a couple X/Double teams (The most notable being Peacock/Double). The match was so one sided I thought I was actually just the worst player in the world. I then won the next couple matches but the salt will go on!

And at this point I imagine it’s safe to assume just the whole world hates Solo Cerebella? I haven’t had any ridiculous blowups because of her in a while but the combination of Diamond Drop and Merry Go Rilla, takes me back to the spacing hell of Vega in a Yun/Yang AE.

Why can’t I personally finance adding a million zillion new characters to this game I would Kickstart the shit out of it.

Im salty that Im still an ass tier player.

I’m salty that Perkins can’t personally finance all the DLC characters. Jeez man, way to go.

None of this explains why Cerebella didn’t just pick up Ms. Fortune and carry her over to Vitale. Seems a lot smarter than crushing her and potentially losing the life gem, and you don’t have to deal with the guilt (Although considering how ruthless the Medicis would have been in trying to retrieve the life gem, maybe crushing her was a mercy).

Also, why didn’t Bella pick up the Skull Heart? The Medicis should be very interested in an object like that; at the very least, they could keep it locked up to prevent another Skull Girl from threatening them.

The answer to both questions is that Cerebella is not very smart.

Her orders were to retrieve the Life Gem. She wasn’t really interested in Ms. Fortune so she used the first method she could think of to retrieve the gem from her.

Cerebella probably didn’t even think of the implications of having the Skull Heart under Medici power because she was too busy with her raging girl boner for Vitale.

We don’t know what exactly her wish was. Considering the illumination during her last scene it’s quite possible that she made a wish to retrive the life gem from Ms. Fortune. Skullheart might’ve been used, she might have a short time before becoming the next, whatever. Her ending I think is the most open to interpretation.

She followed her orders to the letter. Vitale told her to get the life gem no matter what. Fortune was pretty stupid in telling her that killing her was the only way to get the gem out of her. Before that her plan was to bring her back to Vitale.

De-confirmed by Ravi in the story thread. She did indeed crush Ms. Fortune back into the life gem.

Stupid Ms.Fortune hurtbox ruined a combo I had going with Filia that had worked on 5 of 8 characters in the cast. Silly cat.

played casuals with friends, they were so salty about instant kill resets with cerebella #Kappa

I’m so salty I deleted great online footage ONCE AGAIN by mistake and can’t recover them with restorations programs =_=.
