That I know, but at least 8 hits before hitting the ground? If they didn’t have turbo I’m sure that GGPO lag or whatever was giving them a bunch of hits that would normally not be possible. I tried mashing it in air before the matches in training mode. Never worked like what they did.
I’m pretty sure it does exactly 8 hits actually. Might even be 10 but I haven’t really payed that much attention haha.

In terms of skill, there are some good and bad matches online for me. It’s hard to find matches *period *being on the east coast and all. But this is the first fighter with online that’s pretty decent that I’ve played in a long time (not counting programs on PC), so I’m more encouraged to play Skullgirls online. I haven’t had any rage mail yet, had a Filia and Ms Fortune mirror on today, we were about 50/50. He showed me some stuff I didn’t know could combo with Filia, and I hope I showed him something. I wound up winning from an off screen Fortune head trip when he was trying to get in. I had to laugh, but he gg’d and I complimented his Filia, and we were on our separate ways.

I gave up trying to climb the leaderboards. but now I do think there’s something wrong with it. I reached 50 last night… (by losing somehow made me jump like 50 ranks) and since then till now I didn’t touch my game. I went down about 1 or 2 ranks every couple of hours. I played ONE ranked game. Won, and I went down 7 ranks. Didn’t touch it for another 2 hours … went down 1 ranking point… played again, WON, went down another 7 or so, kept playing… Dropped to about 150 after 15 wins and 0 losses. (can’t be scientific about what happened afterward because I started getting losses, but even though my wins overwhelmingly outnumber my losses, I still dropped to about 250 now)…
I think there’s something wrong with how the rankings are calculated…
My theory is somehow if the rankings between 2 people in a match are far enough apart. somehow the forumla makes the winner lose points and the loser gain points…
Actually thinking about it more that may not be true, there’s no way to confirm either way. but I think there is definitely something wrong with the calculations though…
I’m sorry but solo characters are pure stupidity. This shit is on par with Level 3 X-factor. I hope TO’s in the near future see that solo characters should be played against other solo characters and NOT against teams. This is my only real problem with the game so far. Solo characters completely ruin teams. I don’t think that a 3 character team is even viable because of this shit uhhh.
After beating Marie in story and arcade to unlock palette 7&8 for all characters Marie isnt that bad since every character has a move that blows up one of the forms except Ms Fortune.
So I used the Egret Charge assist against a Parasoul today, expecting her to try to zone me out (in which case Charge>>>>Pillar).
Boy was I wrong. There was literally nothing I could do against that Parasoul once she got in. Never playing Peacock without an AAA again.

I know how you feel! I was in the top 1000 and was on what felt like a 20 win streak and i kept going down! I check it 2 hours later and see that I’m in 12th place… then i get matched with 6 peacock teams in a row which put me at 400…
Quite certain he’s serious. Plenty of people playing teams without utilizing their assists, I would suspect that he is one of them.
