Hey guys i was just trying some otoshi setups and on Abel i just thought i found an unblockable with fake HP crossup he cant block holding back but he can block it holding forward weird.
What do you guys think?
If he can block it at all then its not an unblockable 
You messed up the setup, but tbh Abel has a weird hitbox anyway so sometimes it doesn’t work.

But it looks like he has a potential unblockable ima work on it now. I tested the recording on whole cast and on Dee Jay it works but he can walk out and Fuerte it works 100% and as we all know both Fuerte & Dee Jay already have unblockables so maybe i could find one on Abel by trying different timings?
If i find one that works on Abel i will post the setup.
Edit: Whoops Dee Jay doesn’t have an unblockable does he?
Sorry I haven’t posted more videos guys… Was hoping to get a relatively complete video reference for people to use but I haven’t been in the training room much, and when I have played I haven’t been using Sakura.

yeah abel is weird, depending on otoshi timing hp will either cross up or be a fake cross up
Nope, El Fuerte doesn’t have 1 either… well he has 1 but up to now no one here’s got it to work so…
Dunno, funkie said he knows unblockables on 13/14 characters so maybe he could deliver? But he hasn’t really shown anything for it…
So maybe, dunno.
I’ve tested El Fuerte 1 so many times, with so many different timings and it won’t work AT ALL so I gave up…

u guys and your unblockables :p. i just stick to fake x ups except for dudly and gouki there unblockables are easy.

Well why not do unblockables?
Could be the deciding factor between winning or losing a match…
Also Ibuki can just do EX teleport, Dudley can do cross counter, Akuma can teleport…
Sakura, Chun Li and Gen are screwed though…
So 3 people are helpless against unblockables and another thing you gotta take to mind is you hardly run into these characters in the first place… except Akuma who has his very fast, and very far teleport…
All top players have been using unblockables for AGESSSS so don’t see why they shouldn’t be used.

it aint a ethics thing its just that a lot of them r very tight. I only use what im confident in.
For ethics I was referring to Fergus.
But hmm, yeah some are very tight but the bonus is that even if you mess them up you most of the time get a fake xup, if not at least a safe jump (y)
akuma can not teleport.
if akuma fires 1 fireball at the start of the match (and you have a meter maybe not sure if it works without meters yet ) and you get a jumpin make a corner carry combo like cl.mk shunpu cl.mk shunpu c.hp shunpu st.lk ex.shunpu do the unblockable ~os backjump and do c.mk xx hp.shouoken or just hp.shouoken straight away akuma gets 100% stunned if he teleports and that match is a gg’s already for just throwing 1 fireball at the start of the match.
No one smart would throw a fireball straight away…
If anything they’d do jump back fireball or just back dash fireball like most people…
Fireball straight away is like the stupidest risk especially on Akuma…
You’re risking up to 50% of your health on getting what is it like 50? 60? damage or a tiny amount of chip damage…
No good Akuma would start with that o.O

If akuma teleports out of the corner you will ~os backjump and do a c.mk that will hit him before his recovery of the teleport finishes wich makes him unsafe still = It’s a fucking punish.
