Yeah, just hit the same button you would upon landing anyways and you’ll blow up a backdash.
Haha just tried it, the back dash looks so weird, they just teleport in front. Seth and Sagat can front dash out of it too, but you can counter the front and back dash by option selecting dp,sweep or (ex) tatsu. Though I think most won’t be backdashing as a natural reaction, when they’re getting attacked in the corner from the front.
Also on abel if your timing is slightly different it will cross up instead of be a fake cross up, not sure what the exact timing on it is, but would be nice if you are actually able to control what side your landing.
I tested that setup, it does work but doesn’t make reversals whiff… l shoryu trades, medium, high and ex shoryu all beat it clean.
Its a good setup but only works if they crouch block or if they don’t press anything at all… so hopefully if your opponent doesn’t stand block it (most would) it’ll work… only problem is if they DO stand block it then you might miss it because you’d expect it to crossover then you’d end up doing Otoshi and get punished… so you gotta have decent reactions but still a good find!

heres an EASY one. Ex tatsu medium otoshi hit hit fall. fwd Jump cmk jump hp. So lenient. its a fake x up

oh is it really an unblockable? i only know very few unblockables and there usually super tight.
Yeah fake crossups are easy enough, I’m trying to get the actual unblockable down. Ibuki one is being a jerk too, both that and the Sak one I got once, like, ever, and now I can’t get it to work again lol
Hmmm, once you get down when to do Otoshi against Sakura it becomes super easy IMO…
Ibuki is kinda annoying…
I’d say Dudley one is SUPER easy, I get that one first go every time.
Chun Li is second easiest, I get that one usually first/second go.
Sakura is third because I know when the otoshi should hit, usually also takes 1/2 goes.
Ibuki because I can get it in a couple of goes though it ends up being like up to 10 goes sometimes.
And Akuma/Gen one is hard as hell… can’t do those for the life of me 
Its super annoying too because when you use the training dummy to record you can’t even tell if you’ve done it right till play back because when they stand still they don’t get hit at all… haven’t bothered to learn the Akuma/Gen one tbh with you because I rarely run in to Gen’s and Akuma can just teleport… although maybe with Xian winning Canada Cup we might see an increase in Gen’s? Who knows!
Actually I hardly fight any of the characters on the unblockables list… only one I run into a lot is Chun Li…
You can os against teleport though. But I think it’s way too hard…
I thought all this still was basic stuff like dudley unblockable? Sakura has 13 or 14 characters that she got unblockable on and like 7-8 semi-unblockables and just missing a true 50/50 on like honda guile and deejay?
She has one on Guile and Deejay I believe. Both are j.back, dash, jump. Guile is j.rh(fake)/j.mk(cross). Deejay is j.fp(fake)/j.mk(cross).
Well I haven’t been playing for that long, and didn’t see it mentioned somewhere, so thought I posted it, in case anyone else didn’t know. Forgive me for not knowing every single basic setup or unblockable, when its not mentioned anywhere.

Haven’t seen a single person talk about or use unblockables against 13/14 characters… I’d ask you but you’ll probably want to keep it a “secret”.

You get unblockables or 50/50’s…

I found that reversals do whiff (at least with the shotos) when you do the otoshi so it kind of hits underneath them.

I’m goi g to put it up as soon as I am done with the whole thing guide or what you want to call it I’m building a document that covers all unblockables 5050s counter poking punishes char specifics and so on and i got alot i think.
semi-unblockable are the ones you get hit if you block db or fb or mash but on some chars you cant do anything almost like on elf it shuts him down completly and bison.
Balrog dosent have a wakeup game and so on.
Any idea how long that’ll take?
