When you press j.hp do upback at the same time
For the record of anyone discrediting funkie, Sakura does have unblockables on about 12 characters of the cast, she even has semi unblockables with her mk shunpu on some characters wakeup (only way to block is holding down forward LOL!).

Only way for them to block is by holding 3, huh? That’s actually kinda funny, albeit a bit counter-instinctual I think. Oh, and 3 = down-forward, sorry. I find numerical notation more simple to read-write oddly enough.
On Chun Li after EX Tatsu into sweep press st.lk then immediately go into mk tatsu only way for her to block is by crouching forward and she cant block standing.

As a relatively new user to AE Sakura (hell SFIV Sakura), I’m kinda confused on at what point in the EX Tatsu you’d cancel into the sweep and am simply assuming it would have to be an FADC, because if EX Tatsu finishes, it’s a launcher.
its exactly as he says, say you jump in, when you press the HP to hit him, you press up back at the exact same time.
after the ex tatsu you either walk up and sweep while she’s still air born, or dash and sweep
facepalm Wow. I’m such a freaking idiot for not thinking of that.
It helps to understand how OSs work. The idea is that you input your os such that if your jump in whiffs, it comes out as soon as you land. However if your jump in hits or is blocked, there is a small amount of “hitstop” that causes you to land slightly later, so if you input your os properly you will still be in the air because of the hitstop and it won’t come out. The timing is the same for any os: dp, sweep, st. Rh, ultra, tatsu, jump, dash, whatever you want to do.
Im new to Sakura as well.
But what ya do is ex tatsu then dash when they are air born and do a sweep/cr.hk for the hard knockdown and immediately press st.lk then immediately do mk tatsu.
Test it out in training mode and you should get it down fairly easy.

I just tried for like 5 minutes and couldn’t get it once… If I perfectly time everything the tatsu doesn’t hit meaty… I think I might have the spacing wrong though, cause I could never block any of them with down/forward.
I feel like I’m really bad at these. I can’t make either of the first two ever not cross-up, but I can do the third one. My ones weren’t even close to being EX SBK safe jumps either though…
I found with the third one, if they don’t quick rise after doing your first j.mk, whiff a st.lp and do another j.mk and that was hitting unblockable!

If you land counter hit you can get a st LK after it
Kinda useless against people with good reversals cos they’ll just hit dp as they see your mk tatsu
hey is there a vid of the fireball setup midscreen? I cant seem to get the timing or figure it out…basically the one where the fireball hits and u can combo after it…sorry if its kinda vague but I’m sure people know/seen it before

adding the cmk is character specific but raw dp should always work if u get the overhead. U have to walk fwd a lil for it to work
