A meaty(on opponent wake-up or when he’s air recovering) fw.mk will grant you one more frame advantage making it total +3. If you’re close enough you should be able to link st.lk.
Sakura’s arc jump Fierce kick crosses over on ducking opponents but, its rather hard to do. ( wouldnt even bother doing unless you’ve trained hard even to pull that move off everytime when someone is ducking). Never to forget sakura’s neutral jump HK on wake up opponents will always crush dp’s (except those with ex/invincibility frame on startup)
Having trouble w/ cl.MK->lk tatsu link, whenever I plink cl.MK I end up having to negative edge it in order for the LK Tatsu to come out. Any advice to improve this scenario?

I’d say this is more of a habbit. Go training and just keep doing cl. mk~lk to lk shunpukyaku, forget doing the double cl.mk link. First focus more on being comfortable with doing the plink. I used to never bother plinking it cause I had the same issue as you, it just felt akward for me to hit lk after doing a plink from mk~lk. Now I have to do it cause it helps so much.
Why are the normals used as periods and dashes instead of normal abbreviations like MK and HP? I can’t understand what you’re typing.
