Well, that depends on how much better the pokes are versus how much better the fireball is. I have also forgotten about the fireball, so a faster, better recovery fireball would basically give her a whole new special move. I would love to have a way to create pressure without taking extremly risky options.
The only advantage I see to the mk crossup is it makes it more difficult to walk under the crossup during pressure. I rarely find myself missing the lk from poor spacing. Oh and higher damage hit/stun, which is nice I guess.

Well, the biggest advantage in my opinion with j.mk crossup is that you can hit them in the head and still be able to combo after.J.mk grants 4 more hit stun than j.lk for ryu and ken and others,so i would asume it’s kind of the same for sakura.Also is sakura the only character in the game who’s cr.hp and st.hp do 120 stun and her hadouken does 70 stun and am i the only one that is pissed about it?I mean if they gave her normal stun if she did (combo) xx Ex tatsu ~ mixup cr.lk,cr.lp,cr.hp EX srk it would stun a lot of the cast.
Her cr.HP doesn’t do 200 stun because it’s GDLK. One of the best Mexican uppers in the game, comes out in 4 frames, hits pretty far, is comboable and is basically Sakura’s Shoryuken. If that did 200 stun… She’d be Makoto.
Yes while it is very good it’s still not a good reason.I mean It’s really stupid to do 120 stun.Ryu’s also comes in 4 frames, has just slightly smaller hitbox,but also comboable and pretty good antiair and does 200 stun.

st.HP>lk.tatsu>cr.HP>lk.tatsu>(I think you can cr.HP here again, if not, st.lk) xx Ex.Tatsu > j.HK/mix-up to complete stun
With the current stun values, this leaves them just a few points away from dizzy, but adding 50 stun to every HP in that combo would either stun them or leave them 1 lk away from it.
if you were talking about the dmg scaling after stun, Focus lvl 2> wait> lk > dash-under. i’m pretty sure that’ll land 80% of the times you try it. And it resets the dmg+ 50/50 side mix-up.
Even if you could get a stun combo, like you can against some characters, it’s still pereferable to leave them with some stun left that you take out with one last 1-hit mixup.
The scaling when you actually stun someone after somthing x ex shunpuu, j.hp is pretty bad.
yeah, i know the scaling is pretty bad, still, it’s a guaranteed stun and FREE dmg. Everyone knows free dmg is the best kind of dmg. And like I said, the late crumple reset 50/50 usually works, character specific though.
It’s obvious that Sakura users aren’t the type who intentionally seek out S-tier characters…otherwise you would be playing Sagat. It’s clear that Sakura users like playing characters who require effort to use. I don’t see why people are requesting such crazy stuff like “give her more health, better pokes, and more stun on her fierce punches”.
I’m tellin’ ya, it’ll backfire when she gets boring to use. You won’t respect your own victories, and that’s the worst thing ever.
