BTW guys, how do you deal with Vega’s Wall Dive when he likes to Izuna Drop a lot? Need to catch it early with a jumping attack?
Shiiiit I hate Vega. Maybe a late forward dash or a kh Danku to get the hell out of the way? Most seem to go for the ambiguous cross-up so the grab I’ve not worked out how to deal with yet. Will a KRK hit or evade or will you end up getting grabbed out of it?
EX Koryuken should get you out of any Izuna Drop shenanigans, so will burning an Ultra (You may even catch him with it). These are mostly tactics to use when they’re trying to get their loop on.
If he does it while you’re neutral, shouldn’t you be able to meet him in the air with EX Danku, or even Air Taunt away? You should also be able to stuff him with a properly spaced nj.HK or nj.MK
I usually tend to get Izuna Dropped out of Kouryukens, don’t think I’ve tried EX version against them though. Command tends to get messed up sometimes due to him flying over me, maybe I should just mash it out like a noob 
Problem is he’s usually over head by the time I’ve worked out what attack it is so trying to catch this shit early is pretty hard 
Might be able to confuse him with dashing out of Focuses, since he knows I like to Focus those wall dives he’s been Izuna Dropping more but a quick dash should get me out of the way of it… HK Dankuu can be air thrown and Izuna Drop is able to throw people in the air so that won’t do.
Well, EX Koryuken has a butt-ton of invincibility frames, I use it whenever I don’t want to guess whether or not my HP.Koryuken will connect or get beaten out.
But yeah, generally Focus beats anything but Izuna Drop and Izuna Drop beats Focus

I find that a neutral jumping HK works well against Vega walldives, when he comes at you quickly for the potential crossup at least. Because Dan kicks straight up with the HK, you can hit Vega much earlier than he expects to be hit. I imagine neutral jumping MP works similarly, but I’m used to using HK.

Good match, good Dan, he just got a bit unlucky I think and could probably brush up on his combos a bit since every s.HP landed should have been cancelled into HK Dankuu rather than EX Dankuu and Kouryuken but otherwise good :tup:
I’ve seen this guys matches before and yeah, Dan is not his main. He usualy uses Fei Long but i’ve also seen him use Sakura and Rose.
But like you said, if he brushed up on his shedanigans he could be devastating.
He’s a console character man then, bit like myself :bgrin:
