God I can’t link the c.mp into TU in HT #3… keeps going into a gay tiger shot…

anyone got tips on execution?:wasted:

noob here. is there a tutorial that explains the cancelling thing? after tons of practice i have the tiger genocide down and can land tiger destruction most of the time These are about the most complicated things ive been able to do in the game. Anyway, the next challenge set stumps me completely. I don’t understand the timing of the Standing Medium Punch, Cancel into Tiger Uppercut. I try to hit the punch button and then start the uppercut motion, but I am just not fast enough. Can someone explain how to time it so I can get this done? Also, if you have any shortcuts to the move sets listed in the challenges that are easier, that would be great as well.

i can do a c.lk xx tiger uppercut but only from standing position.

I really can’t get TH4! Dan NEVER crumples, only twice and it happened by sheer luck!

The FA comes out, hits, but dan never goes down… arg!! I tried doing it right up close to him like in the youtube video posted earlier in this thread, I’ve tried spacing where his big toe is on the ‘Y’ or ‘A’ of the “change display” – is it because I’m just not holding FA long enough?

2 things generally happen: FA lands, but dan doesnt crumple… FA too slow to come out and dan blocks…

I DID IT!!! TH4 !!! and then I did TH5 on my FIRST TRY LOL!!!

Damn!! My biggest tip for anyone trying TH4 – for me distance wasn’t really a factor, I did it standing directly beside dan… for me, the biggest thing was watching the screen… you really need to hold onto your FA for 0.5 seconds longer than naturally… and to help, you look at sagat… after he flashes yellow (EX) is when I would normally let go, and get 0 crumpling… but after paying attention… you see it all happen slower by doing it over and over and eventually you will see the white flash… the moment you see the white flash AFTER the yellow ex flash, you LET GO and then your FA will crumple him!

I kept letting go at the yellow EX flash, but I was for some reason not really paying attention to sagat… once you really look for it, you will see the white flash after the EX flash!

Invincible Tiger is mine! What icon did I get by doing TH5? I had 2 new ones and wasn’t sure which came with TH5… milky square sagat, or regular SF4 square sagat?

for hard trial #4, I dont know what Morphiend was doing wrong but I can share my experience of hours doing it wrong and finally getting it.

If you have dan in the corner, it is very important to have space between the two of you for a better chance of him crumpling. I would try to stand as far away as possible but still be able to connect with the first crouching medium kick. and you have to release the focus attack the instant Sagat flashes.

Also you must dash after you successfully get Dan to crumple before doing the crouching medium punch.

The final thing that I wasn’t doing properly, and I’m not sure if it was already mentioned in this thread, but after Dan crumples, and you dash forward and crouch, you have to wait to the last possible moment to throw your medium punch. I would always dash and instantly be trying to pull off a crouching punch. it either didn’t connect or i’d do a tiger uppercut. after the dash, crouch, wait just a brief moment and throw the punch and immediately do the motion for tiger knee after the punch.

Same here and it’s driving me crazy. Are you supposed to cancel the 2nd part of the dash somehow into the > HK?

I don’t get it. I watched the video but it’s not helping. I always over dash by one.

FA Dashing a during combo requires you to press fw ONCE. not TWICE

Don’t confuse DASHING with 2 fwds and you’ll be ok. : )

Remember this only applies during combos.

I can do the entire combo without the cr.medium punch

it throws off my timing and the rest of the combo =\

Its really dumb that you can’t do his 4th hard trial the ‘right’ way, that is fadc into the c.mp, why must I do that pesky level 2 focus attack

After trying the single tap many times, I’ve come to the conclusion that it is false. You definitely need to double tap to dash out…

To people who are having trouble with connecting the cr.mp (i know i did) after the EX FA in hard trial 4, Wait a split second and quarter of a second, just as long as you don’t start mashing mp as soon as you FADC just wait, otherwise you’ll miss it completely.

having trouble with hard trial 3 i always end up dashing under dan or not dashing at all T_T any tips how to FADC and link Forward Roundhouse?

after you FADC wait a split second before doing f.hk if you do it to fast he dashes under it is a slight delay.
