This is what disappoints me about these boards. He asked a simple question so you call him a Daigo worshipper and told him his question was retarded instead of stating that there is in fact no one āultimateā player and that even great players like Daigo lose.
And then you call him out for registering in 2009ā¦when youāre both like less than 6 months from 2009 yourselves. Sorry, but SF4 brought a lot of people back to fighting games, myself included. I started playing SF as a 10-year old at the 7-11 over 15 years ago. Unfortunately I didnāt immediately go register at SRK until SF4 so Iāll forever be an '09 noob. Lol, what a joke.
The problem is that his question was definitely NOT thought out at allā¦itās very obvious why what he said was wrong.
Firstly, I donāt think Daigo is the best player necessarily but even if he was, that doesnāt mean he wonāt lose, it just means (objectively) that he has the best win/loss record overall. There are obviously many other factors that should be considered for labelling someone āthe best playerā but itās difficult to measure this objectively. Honestly I think Momochi is better than Daigo.
FPStud said Daigo can beat everyone. He literally said that. Daigo canāt beat everyone. So spreading misinformation is bad, mmkay?

daigo can beat anyone on any given day, the question is if he executes and does. as far as being the best, daigo is definitely up there. you can argue who is the absolute best all day but IMO you just have to measure by achievements/tournament success
what can you do about it? daigo is one of the most popular sf players ever and hes also one of the best.

To answer the question, they use teams to counter the fact that characters have bad matchups. Also sometimes the teams are sometimes forced to only have 1 of a character on the team so everyone doesnt just pick the very top tier.

I think because so many people flock to Sagat, everyone has a lot of experience against him and knows what works and what doesnāt. So at this point, your Sagat had better be on point, or else your opponent is going to outplay you. Daigo said something similar in his interview in the SBO guidebook.
I actually had a Sagat card when the game first came out but when I found out he was the best in the game I dropped him.
I donāt think a-cho streams, but they do record and put everything up later.
