anyway its true in some ways, but its like when you’re pretty much a beginner, playing with the pros most of the times can be too demoralizing at times and there’s the money factor as well… anyway its only because i live quite far away from bigbox, if its 30mins or less, id go there everyday 
but travelling an hour+ just to get anally raped by players who have significant advantage against ur char(gouki, gief…)… kinda sucks.
i guess you can try to face impossible odds and defeat them to level up super quickly, or fight a slightly “easier” opponent to get most of the matchups fundamentals down before even attempting to challenge the “gods” so levelling up is at a slower pace but its hit confirmed.
conclusion: playing an “S++” ranked player can go both ways (super positive or super negative) while fighting an “B~AAA” players usually contribute to the positive more than negative.
