haha damn right im pissed, every time i lose to a rufus i get annoyed as shit. all that work until i get caught really kills me inside. im starting to think this is 6.5/3.5 for rufus unless theres some option selects im missing out on.
the guile i played for 3rd/4th place finals is actually a really good yokohama guile player. kim and ranix play him a lot he has a face O_O as his card name just like how theres someone with the same name on SRK lol.
hes pretty good! and he usually beats me when we play just cause he can outturtle me. however in the trf match we played he got impatient cause i was ahead in the fireball game and forced a jump over and over and i won. wish all our matches were like that.

i doubt its united states of free money. i wasnt the only one that went to japan. lots of people are coming back with that japan level up experience. justin, marn, floe, valle all have that japan power up and they are playing more “japanese” as you can see, their game is a lot tighter now. Plus, sim struggles in a lot of matchups. I can lose just the same even after coming back from Tokyo. I’m getting better but at the same time I can see why Sim has forever been C tier…he has a lot of exploitable things.
I haven’t played nemo/nuki but i played this Yokohama chun 3 games at Kim’s arcade. I couldnt beat him once. Midscreen is ok vs him, just have to watch out for random jumps random hazanshus. In the corner its really bad. Instant overhead is a bitch but you can fierce it in his recovery. I have to be careful of her focus, Chunli players do a lot of focus fishing (my fierce) into ultra/super. I think its range specific though. The biggest thing that fucked me over in this match was…
if i focus fish chunli and shes charged thats GGPO, she can ultra/super my backdash as a free punish…on block. that really really sucks…i cant focus fish if shes charged up. =/ because of this alone i think this is 6/4 chun
zangitan (the best gief ive ever played btw) posts about his strats every day on mixi…and a lot of the top players have blogs/videos etc. i dont know the breakdown of how much it was talked about in person/blogs/net etc but its out there.

jumping in at max range vs sim = sux since if they dont stick out anything, my b. rh whiffs. this is solved by using stand rh though which gives ryu hell
so a ryu standing outside st. fierce range, throwing fireballs, when i yoga tower he edges up and jumps at max distance is tough to deal with.
ryu with full super stacked = tough to deal with since he can throw out DP’s at random and get rewarded with fullscreen supers, so this means random DP is worth it and really safe, punish obviously aint that good for sim on a blocked DP unless hes close and i have super

basically it comes down to smart spacing, neutral jumping over fireballs a lot, edging closer torwards them with small jump divekicks to close the gap lol. not unwinnable by any means. but then again im not a rufus player so keep that in mind.

not worth the damage output for a few extra reps of loop, and the knockdown is more important anyway than the extra few percent of damage

after trf and beasting with ranix in roppongi irl
went to yokohama and played vs kims community of players.
they are quite good, but my impression was they are a bit behind bigbox…but still really good.
i couldnt really beat zangitan really, i must have went like 2-8 or something retarded lol. best gief in the world in my eyes haha.
vs chun player as i wrote before because of focus punishes i lost every game.
vs master akuma player there, i didnt lose once.
vs master honda, i didnt lose once either (i think anti-akimo/honda strats work well now!)
vs yuuru ryu he beat me a few games but i had winning streak overall.
vs their master sagat, i didnt lose vs him either.
of course kirisuto still owns me but he wasnt there that night.
tokido was there randomly hes playing sagat now and has a 73% win ratio. claims hes just messing around. i played him 2x didnt win either.
but overall i think i beat the respect out of yokohama players, they were all really nice guys from what i gather though. and they ALL know about me from 2ch now lol.

wed i got fucked up at bigbox by acrevenger, random gouki player there too. its toughhhhhhh out here sometimes, like i said i can beast one day and get raped the next its all the same lolz
still stagnant on BP/win ratios… 59% 28K BP…im stuck at a wall.
once u get to 30k and or/master, beacuse of how the BP system works, its hard to level up above that.
hence why u see so many players at my BP level or slightly higher than that.
