i am guessing ryu doesn’t really have a vortex cause most of his mixups are 50/50 rather than 3-4 way mixups. maybe if you count option select safejump into DP/pressure maybe it’s almost a vortex? i actually never heard that term before but maybe cause i play easy ass ryu.
since you messed around with ryu, let us know if you see some cool setups or smart punishing you’ve noticed that isn’t very common. have fun! god i hella want to level up in japan too.

I see PE (Rufus) was in the last TRF. If he comeback this week, can you ask him where is his teammate of the qualif tougeki ? His name is ??? and he/she plays Chun li.
For me She is the best Chun li i have seen yet. Yes “better” than Nemo, Haneyama, Nuki 
In fact, she play chun li an other way than the casual Chun li.
It was in April 19 at TRF for tougeki qualif :
Start at 03 : 26, she just dominate this Ryu (safe jump, break option select, instant hazan shu at close range, footsies, bait reversal dragon, etc…). Ok it’s not Daigo but i like the way she play this match.
Start at 09 : 14 Versus Ken now and she just cornered ken with footsies :tup: You can see ken is speechless, she succeed to scare him, no karathrow, no reversal dragon, etc !!!
At the begining she ocv the team ( Gouki and Chun li)
16 : 56 to the end. Again a gouki fall versus her.
at 03 :16 she finally lose to a grand master Rufus but cause of a “mistake”, she miss the link FP to super at the end with the lead

idk i dont think the matchup is worse than 6/4, 7/3 is a little dramatic but i agree with 6-4, its not unwinnable
when chun has ultra i only throw fireball out second. and i do more standing fierces in the match since im not gonna throw fireballs first. hasan shu is good to go over sims pokes but if hes focus fishing at midscreen chun will obviously get smoked.
basically they try to play the fireball matching game until they get close then they go nuts lol…not in my favor especially when im in the corner. you pretty much described how the match goes…its a combination of 1 and 2. i played nemo once at shizowa cup so i dont remember much, hes the only crazy chun ive played against tho, havent played vs az.

I’d like to know who you think is better character, C.Viper or Abel. I’ve been getting into it with some others in the match up thread and I believe Abel is the more solid character from top to bottom(as far as match ups are concerned), but I also think Viper is really good, too. Would like you to give your opinion.
Also, I’m an Akuma player residing in Jersey who’s in serious need of some solid Dhalsim/Seth sparring. While I plan on attending NY tournaments and perhaps even gatherings from time to time, getting there on a consistent basis will be a little difficult for me. I also will attend some 8OTB tourneys and I hear you clean shop over there. Anywho, if it isn’t too much to ask it would be gee golly swell if we could get some matches in over XBL from time to time. I’ve reached out to a lot of good players like Sanford and Rashaan but only Chris Hu accepted my request/message. If you could make a spot on your packed XBL list for me I’d appreciate it. I assure you I’m no noob. Just a player who knows he can get real solid and needs the experience to do it.

Sim to Sim question: How do you handle Rufus?
Typical Rufus game for me goes like this: zone his ass with fires, j.strong, s.roundhouse, b.roundhouse, etc. until he is at like half life.
Get hit by random Messiah and then get combo’d into Ultra off of dive-kick mixups.
Then I’m dead.
