because that’s how he plays honda and he plays really aggressive. he did aa quite a bit, but he’s definitely not a typical “crouch, wait” type of player with honda, which does allow jump-ins, but doesn’t completely neuter him like you think it does.
What i said is that honda doesn’t have defense that’s better than ryus, do you agree or disagree? Do japanese players think that honda has better defense than ryu? Ryu can jump in much easier on honda than honda can successfully jump in on ryu, agree or disagree?

Actually, what you did is offer a match of Alex Valle (RY) vs Mike Ross (EH) as proof that Ryu can jump-in against honda more than honda can jump-in against ryu, which is both a really stupid thing to argue (more to follow) and a really stupid way to prove your point.
On defense:
I think “defense” is a very general term. It’s easier to set up a situation against honda where you can jump in if you’re ahead on life, since he has to break his d/b charge to get at you.
Neither character gets free jump-ins if it’s even, since regardless of what you want to think headbutt IS a great anti-air. Shaddup about that. Seriously.
Honda has some of the best normals in the game, so if we’re talking about “defensive footsies”, then i think he does better.
If we’re talking about getting out/away from a rushdown, then I think they have the same options in reversal / block / tech.

Completely unnecessary. Also, specify what weakness he should have. As it is, it just sounds like you want Ryu brought down just because the characters you play with have weaknesses, not due to Ryu’s own merit.
Capcom could make his fireballs better than Sagat’s, with a full invincible SRK, and then he’s have weak normals in comparison. But I don’t think that’s what you were going for.
Lastly, it’s probably not going to happen. A more productive approach is what can be done to make other characters better, instead of making a good character worse just because others aren’t as good.
We can keep at this all day. But pretty much everyone here agrees with me.
