Running Mates: Teams/Assists

I see a lot of Dorm/Haggar on the top Dorm team forums but I Dorm is a stronger 2 then point so that leaves the mayor as the anchor. Is i viable to run anchor Hag behing a Chris/Dorm team or is it better to put Dorm at the anchor and use his assist to extend Haggar combos??

Hi, so I’m trying to run a Haggar/Doom(Beam)/Dante(Jam) and I have a bit of a dilemma. I’m using this combo as my BnB for this team:

s.LMxxViolent Axe L s.LMxxHoodlum Launcher L, j.MMHdH v Hoodlum Launcher L, j.MMHdHS, d.H fH, dash + call Doom, d.H fHxx Hoodlum Launcher L, j.M uH S, v, d.H + call Dante, f.Hxx Hoodlum Launcher L, qcf S (in air), d.H f.HxxTHC

and this does at least 1.2m damage. But it uses three meters, which I’m not sure I’ll always have or always want to use. So I’m looking for an alternative where I can just use Haggar’s level 1 hyper and DHC to doom. I could always just put Dante 2nd and THC with just 2 meters, but I like having Jam Session with doom. Any ideas how I can end this combo into a level 1 instead?

Use TK Haggar press for high one bar damage. When do you Hoodlum Launcher at the end of your combo, Tiger Knee the Haggar Press out of the Hoodlum launcher. You will get all the hits and it will add a ton of damage for one bar, with the ability to DHC into your next other character after Haggar lands for more damage (you must do it earlier rather than later).

I play Haggar/Deadpool/Iron Man and I get 930k with one bar off a s.L confirm, and I can still DHC into Deadpool afterwards (I use Unibeam at the end of the combo for extension).

Out of curiosity how much damage are you getting with that combo before the THC after Drop Kick? I use a similar combo.

Mine is starter, s.M, s forward H pipe xx M Violent Axe, S, j.M, j.M, j.dH (air pipe), S, j.M, j.M, j.dH, j.S, c.H OTG drop kick, dash c.H OTG Drop Kick + Call Quick Work, S, Wild Swing, drop kick otg + call Unibeam, L Hoodlum Launcher, Wild Swing, drop kick OTG, forward h pipe, THC.

So I’m trying a team of Wolverine/Haggar/Hawkeye. Do ya’ll think it’s decent or not, I need some advice on that team. It’s fun to play but I don’t think it’s much damaging.

I think it really depends on the type of match ups your team will face. I feel like against a keep away heavy team you would want Dorm up front.

Well with wolvie on point I think knowing the fatal claw loop is good enough damage except maybe for those high health characters, or if you have good resets with wolvie that’s good too.

But if you have Haggar on point it looks like the team wouldn’t do too much damage as you’d expect a Haggar team to do.

A lot of people are talking about haggar arthur, for some reason the cr.h assist pickup is really inconsistant, even in the exact same combo with more or less the same spacing. It might be HSS but I cant figure damaging combo that still works witht he assist. Golden armour does fix it though.

Hi. Been wanting to make a Haggar sub-team. How would Haggar [Lariat], Vergil [Rapid Slash], Dante [Jam Session] work? I’ve tried out some things in the lab and I’ve seen that for 1 meter I can definitely get some good damage with this team. Also I think there’s some good mix-up/reset possibilities. Soo the question is… can it work?

Thinkin’ either Haggar - α /Wesker - β /Dante - γ or Wesker/Haggar/Dante. What’ca guys think?

Okay I’m looking at Haggar, Dorm, Shuma
This team looks really solid and I’m loving it.

So far my bnb is :l::m::f::h: hoodlum :l: nj :m::m::h::d::h: dash :s::h::u::h::s: (or :m::m::h::d::h::s: depending on hsd) :d::h::f::h: dash + shuma ray :d::h::f::h: hoodlum :l: nj :h::u::h::s: (not sure of the timing on dormamu assist if anyone can help me out I’d appreciate it) dark hole :d::h::f::h: LARIATO super post dhc damage is around 1.1m

Now here are my questions

  1. Where can I improve my bnb?
  2. How should I adjust it if I only have either mystic ray or dark hole available?
  3. How should I adjust my combos after throw/command throw/lariat?
  4. Where can I fit in :h: hoodlum launcher combos?
  5. Finally when doing rapid fire fist I mash like a champ but I’m never getting the full amount of hits? What’s the deal?

I know it’s a lot of questions but I’m dying to play Haggar but I feel the need to optimize before hand.

So my friend is soul searching and I recommended Haggar for him, team I built was haggar/dorm/plasma beam. I think it’s a solid haggar team with a decent back-up plan when he dies. But I don’t really know shit about Haggar, so how do you guys feel about this arrangement?

Using Wright/Haggar(Or Haggar/Wright depending on the matchup) and was wonder who would make a good anchor for this team besides doom? Currently running Wright/Haggar/Strange

Yo. Was wondering what people thought of these two weird Haggar teams I run:

Haggar/Hsien-ko/Amaterasu (LLND-inspired).
Haggar/Deadpool/Dante (I play DP and Dante so thought this’d be fun).

My main Haggar team is usually Haggar/Doom/Dante but I was wanting some feedback on these.

I’ve been running Haggar/Trish/Wesker for a few months now, and it’s actually doin pretty good. It’s got touch-of-death combos from different situations (bnb, sj pipe, piledriver, backdrop, etc), and unblockable set-ups from Harvest with Wesker. I’ve been looking for a team to stick to for a while, and I think this is it. Can still use practice though.
