I have the first two and they’re fun, though I wish the iPhone had a proper d-pad.
I will have to investigate Dungeon Hunter… right now!
Dr. B’s iPhone can talk to Pluto. The former planet.
Dungeon Hunter is exactly like Diablo. I wrote a lot about it in the Iphone/Ipod Touch gaming thread. I really really loved it and it won Game of the Month for Slidetoplay.com
Final Fantasy Tactics is my favorite RPG of all time. Although it’s technically a strategy-RPG. The replay value and customization was ridiculous.
hmmmm ironically i went to nexon website because at times one would see the nexon cards at 7-11. I went to gamefaqs to look up some stuff about ToV and I came across Dungeon Fighter Online. So far i like the game. I’ll admit that leveling up takes a bit too long but it is decent. Luckily i am playing the game without the need for mouse.

FF6 is the best FF, you fail at life if you think other wise. Demon’s Souls I heard is really good I think im going to get it
Hmm… odd. I swore I posted a response three minutes ago.
Oh well, basically it was just re-affirming Valaris’ recent recommendations. Zenonia is pretty fun, almost like a Zelda-esque remake. Hybrid frame skips on me cause iPhone2g is just bad. And Dia… Dungeon Hunter brings back memories.
For a System Shock 2 take on handheld gamng, Wolfenstein RPG is an interesting game.
Reign of Swords and Reign of Swords Ep2 is an FFT-like game.
Those three are on the iPhone btw.
For mainstream RPG’s that are well-known:

Final Fantasy 7 and 10
For some of the lesser-known RPG’s: every time I bring these up, people are like, “WTF is that?”

For sure! The 1st had some pretty gnar gnar graphics but the storyline and gameplay were awesome! I never did get into the newer ones though

Very good. I believe that specific one I mentioned had a 9999 floor dungeon at the end of the game. Nobody has ever reached the bottom. :wow:
I know its a Action/RPG but Brave Fencer Musashi was a really good game. I loved playing that game.
I’m glad someone else has played TO: KoL, I only hear about “Let Us Cling Together” when people talk about Tactics Ogre. I would rep you if I could.
Both versions of Persona 2 are what I’m playing through right now, but I’m not sure i’d recommend it unless you’re into PS1 RPGs (who isn’t?) and have some experience with the Persona series. Too much flexibility in the tarot card system, and overall difficulty in Persona and SMT games for that matter could turn some people off.

Great game, though. Shit was hard, but I love a challenge in a video game, personally.
Also, no love for Suikoden 1 and 2? Sad face. Games were freakin’ great. What about Arc The Lad? Another sleeper hit IMO. Wild Arms 1 was great, too.
