How did Rawtag’s tournament go? Any links to matches yet?
I think he said it would not be uploaded, just things for fun. Even so, weekly tournaments hosted by people with streaming abilities were amazing. We should definitely help support exdemus7’s current tournament and maybe he can make it a weekly thing minus the $100 prize of course.

Yeah, it wasn’t streamed but was a lot of fun, we originally planned for a series of exhibition matches but in stead switched to an invite only lobby, had a gud turn out and some fun matches. Will definitely do something like that again 
It was a blast, almost 7hours nonstop playing with awesome people 
Okay, there was talk of doing a second set of matches this week. I say lets start organizing it, but i want to see it all be mixed teams, see how you can put the new and old characters together, what do people think. Also, if i’m present i will be recording it for people to see, i have the tools (just not the tools to livestream it)
BTW, what tool do you use for recording? I’ve been thinking about getting an EasyCap once I move into my new apartment, but I’m curious what you’ve been using to record our stuff since they were in pretty decent quality.
I got the Roxio gamecapture. It works well enough, I’m preatty sure i got it on sale for 70$

One way to grow the SFxT scene is to draw more SFxT players into the FGC. More people buy and play fighting games than participate actively in the FGC simply because of fact most people who buy and play fighting game have no idea there is a FGC (you may want to argue that fact but add together the participants and stream views for any game at EVO and compare that to the sales of that same game. Most of these people are playing online so after a match send a friendly message and direct them to this website. During the whole rolento glitch thing I still never had a problem finding a match online and even played vs many rolentos. I would message them about the glitch and they had no idea about the glitch because they were not a part of the FGC, Just people who own and play the game.
Id love to, but I cannot even get friends to play fighters, so getting people to devote time to the fgc. Would be weighty.
People say the casual scene is big, so i wonder how we can transition them…

I have some ideas for tournaments.
Some changes may have happened but.
- Try to bring back tournaments to the local scenes. With that allow gem usage in the game it belongs there and limit gems to just boost gems, with those just make it the boost gems that came with the game.
- Make it 1v1 for standard tournaments and get rid of the 2v2 format.
- 2v2 should become a side tournament.
Other stuff…
We could try to show off the game online more like stream it commentate during the streams about them.
I have other ideas but not atm. XD
Yep, we need more streamers and people to support those streams. JiBbo’s is amazing but we can have other streams if people follow and watch them now and again.
As for local tournaments, I would say that they should allow both formats in the same event. 99% of the entrants would be single, of course, but when you get down to it, it is the same game being played. There are advantages to both styles, and letting them mix once we get dedicated team players showcases an aspect of this game’s depth hitherto unlocked.

one way to expand would be if every one online would unplug their sister/brothers computer that is streaming music and video at the same time. stop downloading that movie while you are playing.stop using your neighbors wi fi to play sfxt and plug directly to the modem because i am so friggin tired of not being able to move while being comboed back and forth across the screen and i cant get a stupid mk to work cause you need to stream that stupid reality show. shit was fine until the new characters came out and everyone jumped back online and now shit is dildoes. fix your connections or go lag someone out on marvel. ive got bald spots now thank you very much. and my stick, hell my coffee table cant take much more. im sure my neighbore love me as well( neighbors the next block over). of course this will never change so kojack look, here i come. who needs hair anyway, archaic.
We should update that stream thread and see if we can get these SFxT streams on the front page some how.

What dedicated streams for SFxT are there? The last couple days I’ve been watching the Karastorm channel, but it seems like they switch games sometimes.
I liked Jibbo’s channel because it was a stable place for people to go to for good play and discussion. Something that fans of the game could rally around and participate with others that liked the game. He’ll be back at the end of the month and hopefully back to streaming regularly, but in the meantime, just wondering where the stream monsters who like SFxT congregate.
With SFxT lacking stream time at tourneys a dedicated stream channel with decent levels of play is one of the things few resources we can easily point to, to show how good the game can be and that the game isn’t dead.
I dunno where they congregate, but I would like it if more people checked out expdemus7’s stream. Also, Psychoblue might be starting one up.
