Does anyone know how many frames you have to connect her cl.MK into another move, like c.mp? I noticed I was able to connect it a few times, but not at all the time. This isn’t probably relevant, but how precisely close does Rose have to be in order to do a cl.MK, rather than a regular s.MK, for instance?

i believe you can only connect the cr.mp on counter hit…

sc. mk gives you +5 on ch, so it would work.

but sc. HK on ch also links to cr. fierce. (+6)

csMK is +6 on CH actually. +3 normally and an additional +3 on CH.

Fishing for CH csHK is pretty dope, move has enough recovery to be able to confirm CH or not and go into cLP or cHP on reaction.

and since c.HP has 5 starting frames, if you land a normal hit with sc.MK, it’d act as a frame trap to anything without invincibility. Could be risky, but even doing a c.LP after sc.MK on block is risky.

How many frames does close mk take to be airborne/unthrowable? First frame??

1~20 IIRC are the unthrowable frames.

About slide and throw, When or where i should try throw my opponent? Because everytime i tried that, he hit me with c.lp c.lp…

for Slide>Throw, you have to do slide from mid to max range for the best results. It’s something best fooled around with in Training. If you’re doing it right in their face, it’s not going to work since slide leaves you at a disadvantage done close.

Who uses this? Is this valid or are there things I missed? Are there better and easier alternatives for the setups?

Was wondering if anyone knows or uses some good safe jump setups, if they exist of things like throws, or for spiral knockdowns (fast tech). I’ve found some cool stuff for ambiguous crossups here but I still get reversaled by stuff that I can safejump.

if people like teching after drill, walk up throw generally works at times. Her fat throw range helps a lot.

Hi Rose community. I just want to ask a couple of things since I alt Rose.
Is there a way to plink her cr.lk to cr.mp? Why is it that other Rose players that I play online do a st.mk on an opponents wakeup when it seems unsafe?

Also, this may have already been known but one useless fact (can be used ultra rarely) is that Rose can slide under hadokens or other projectiles like how Dhalsim does it full screen. It was pretty fun playing around with it in training mode. Although useless since she has reflect.
