Rose Moveset and Attributes

I think cr.HP is by far the more safe AA. Not to say that f.HK is bad.

Depends on where they are. If they’re just beginning to jump at you, f.HK will put them back on the ground. If they’re jumping at you in a classic “why are you jumping at me” situation, cr.HP or slide under > throw. If you don’t have time for cr.HP’s startup, you can try to close HK, EX soul throw or just block.

I do need to mess with close hk more as an anti-air. I’ve hit Bison out of nis headstomp with it before.:amazed: Definitely need to mess with it summo.:bluu:

Hey guys, anyone know her highest priority air to air move? I keep getting kicked in the face by ken…

Highest priority air to air I’d say is J.HP.

I’d go with j.HK, but j.HP has a nice hitbox since she’s kinda behind the scarf. It depends on the angle. You shouldn’t be meeting with Ken air to air very much though. If he’s just jumping around like an idiot, stay on the ground and anti air him. I know how Ken scrubs like to jump a lot. Focus his full screen hadokens and ultra him when he jumps, too.

Hmm, so does Ken have advantage in the air? I noticed I lose a lot more to Kens mid-air than to others. Even better, I normally never lose an air battle at all. Mostly using J HP. Sometimes MP, this seems to be a great fit for a quick air strike side to side.

It is, especially if you’re jumping later and hit them at kind of an upward angle.

what about Balrog? jumping Balrog punches seem to have insane priority over any Rose Air attack.

i have NEVER been able to stuff Balrolgs jumping punches with Rose.

Just slide under him and either throw or c.mp, drill combo.

balrog’s j.hp has a great range/angle.
but priority rarely matters in an air battle, i find it more important to know the angles of your attacks and adapt to things like who jumped first or what the opponent’s apparent goal is.

Is that ex soul drill invincibility on the first frames right on the frame data? seems like a huge invincibility window to me.
