Hahaha I’d really love to do that, but my stick is totally FUBAR. The jab, and MK buttons are touch sensitive which means I have to really be cautious about how I press them for throw or slide etc… Also I don’t like feeling I won a match just because I threw more

Rose needs to keep her opponent guessing their wake up and on pressure. Throw in a few of those and it will mean a huge difference.

Tru dat! Its a must. I really hope they don’t nerf throwing in SSF4 like people are rumoring. Theres not really any valid reason to do so…
Hahahaha. I’d totally throw more if I could, really. The way I’ve been playing is either substituting throw with sc.MK if I’m on offense, or when I feel like I should tech; which sometimes results in a throw. I guess my stick isn’t that broken, but going from a playable quality stick to substandard is hard to cope with.

I played Luffy in a set of first to ten. The final score was 7-3 me. Since I leveled up his Rose has done the best vs me. I declare Luffy as the world’s best Rose.

In his defense, he’s the best Sagat ive played online or off and i’ve played some good ones.
Not that I’m going to pick sides here in saying who the best Rose is because I’ve only played you Saqs. But I think the play style Luffy may have towards Sagat is different than yours or that Emblem Lord may not have been as prepared for Luffy’s approach because he has played you several times before where as he may not have played Luffy.
In either case the point is a bit moot because he was obviously joking. But just like anyone who plays someone the more they do so, the more they learn that persons game plan making it more familiar to them. I have no doubt that Luffy has a great Rose, but to say one is better than the other is difficult unless they are both play in the same style.
Saqs and Luffy play totally different. I think it’s awesome.
i played EmblemLord several times. I also played Saqs, and i think we have pretty much the same style.
