Rose Combos and Glitches

I use it, but not at all cost, if i get a far c mp in, i’ll immediatly use a ex spiral behind (unless i have the super of course).

And ultra comeback if you have an ultra 2 stocked. j.hk, cr.hp xx hk spiral xx super, ultra is beautiful against telegraphed fireballs, touch tight in lag midscreen, but if you miss you can still wakeup shenanigan them with your balls on there untechable knockdown.

Can’t believe I JUST discovered she can cancel far MP like 2 days ago. As much as I use/rely on that move I should be ashamed:rofl: Been Getting a lot of empty cance mixups off of it now, nmaking a Goglike poke even more Godlike!

just dropping by to say that rose has a glitch on her last trial. “Ex. Focus Cancel” will light red when either ex.focus is used as an attack (so you can charge for crumple…but maybe can’t finish the whole trial) or a cancel.

woah lp reflect beefs ex sparks also? and I’ve been working on fadcing sparks with rose the past few days. I’ve missed countless opportunities where I could of done a spark FADC to c.FP xx HP reflect st for big damage, it would really help give me alot more to work with.

I also seem to hold on to super for too long, cause I’m addicted to landing it off a c.mp spiral.

Could you combo into U1 in vanilla???

Comboing into now can give you well over 500 damage but your timing has to be perfect. But just knowing you can combo off the EX Spark xx FADC makes U1 somewhat useful if you have good timing.

I didn’t think you could combo into in SFIV, is this something they changed for SUPER?

This was the same in vanilla.

Too much meter for my liking. And U2 is my preferred choice of Ultra in almost all matches, except the obvious (Blanka, Juri, etc.)

And how does the lp reflect beefing EX Spark work? I have no idea how this works. Absorb a fb get more damage on your EX? Is this what you’re saying?

i kinda don’t get where the topic of comboing to u1 came from but i think it’s possible… the ex.spark to u1…

Who do you choose U1 against?

Why Blanka and Juri? Because of Beast Roll and Dive Kicks?

Who else is the etc.? Balrog cause U1 will eat his dash punches?

I’m just curious cause I feel like I just pick U2 always, like I don’t even wait to see who they’ll pick anymore because U2 is so versatile I feel like I have to pick it…

Every lp reflect absorb adds more damage to Rose’s fireball/ex fireball/super up to seven consevutive fireball absorbs. Beefs you up pretty nice and cqan be very handy vs projectile heavy characters.

And I use U2 vs most of the cast.

I use U1 vs Blanka,T. Hawk and Chun. Never used it vs Juri so I’ll give it a try. T. Hawk is a cake walk if you have U1. He already can’t jump at you because of your far mp and blocking hawk dives into pain city.

May tru U1 vs Adon also, but I need to find an Adon first :rofl:

hey has anyone had an issue with U2 and FA lv.3? On two occasions i have had this problem where i activate U2 had bother orbs blocked charge up FA. to lv.3 and everything was blocked. I activated U2 on the right side of the screen then crossed to the left with both, so i dont think push back was an issue.

Level 3 Focus Attack loses the unblockable property when connecting with an opponent already in blockstun. You can see the same thing with Dhalsim’s U1 if he activates and then charges up FA3 while they block the Catastrophe.

Yeah it was a U2 combo. You know how you can do U2,Ex.SSpiral,SThrow when your oppenents cornered, well i got it to work out of the corner a coulpe times and wanted to see if there was a way of landing it more frequently. I have been messing around with it and noticed it works better if your a lil further way from the other person about a half box,box,box and a half.

It goes like SSatilite activation, Ex.SSpiral/Hk.SSpiral(it worked with both), orb1 and spiral hit, then as rose is recovering orb 2 hits and SThrow. (just trying to paint the picture) it should do 404-406 damage.

I cant get it combo 100% due to the combo needing proper spacing before the ex.SSpiral hits so that both orbs hit allowing rose to recover so that way she can add on ST. I just figured you or anyone might be able to find something that makes it more guaranteed.

What is the best way to combo into lp or mp reflect? I like how it throws them across the screen (hopefully into the corner where I like em).

reflect connect only with clp/chp/cl.hp/cl. st.mk/ cl. st.hk. so… it’s kinda hard to connect it, but i like how it push the opponent to the corner.

can anyone explain to me what “cl.st.hk” means?
