Holy hell man you gotta do a painting tutorial sometime…
yeah I know I really should, like a video showing how I do things. I will in time I think it will give more insight on how much work I really do put into my stick lots of steps lol. that blaze case has like 8 coats of clear to smooth out the vinyl cause that is what i used for the front and back decals, its a little thicker than paint so It takes more to cover it but his stick is gona be tits And I know he has bin waiting paitently for me to finish.
o and thank you man I have bin so busy of late I haven’t had alot of time to udate stuff but I am glad I got some new stuff posted
this is awesome, yours and b15 paintjobs are on another level…
what kind of tape do you use to make the stripes and shapes?
I use 3M Automotive painters tape all the way it’s the bomb I also have tried frogs tape but it is not as good. thanks bro
the black Dormammu writing and the symbol is vinyl tho not taped and painted, and the clear coating is in the begining stages thats why it looks crappy about ten more coats and then wet sand!!!
Update on The Alba Meira Stick
Eternal B > I threw in some of my snap in buttons just to show you how it looks.I wanted black body with white plunger buttons but they would have to be Seimitsu buttons so I will go all white sanwa screw down or white body black plunger. My cam would not focus for some reason I think because of the lighting but I am still clearcoating the case maybe one more coat I’m thinking and the bottom art will be done soon, almost there bro. let me know what you think! getting the parts ordered tomarrow (Friday)

Very nice… you custom builders are tooo good ! you got a gift there Ronin!
Thanks!!! Trugoy} I get better with every stick Just wish I had more time, I have only made a few sticks so far and I really want to build my gallery up with more customs and different styles. I have some ideas swimming in my head of sum new things I want to try and I think If I can perfect it, I will have another soild piece to my cases. I want to create customs that stand alone by like style, comfortability and overall craftmanship.
Thanks phaedrus!!! I can’t wait too lol
Lovely work Ronin, keep it up. That Dormammu is amazing can’t wait to see the finished product.
Awesome job. The paint job is fantastic.
Nice job man.
I can’t wait to finish this one and I am sure EB is too lol MANY Thanks guys It’s what keeps me going. I have many projects coming up so should have much more to post lots of balltops and a custom pearl TE I am gona paint. I’m gona try this rubberized spray for plastic that is a flexible material that won’t crack the paint when the plastic moves so hope it works good I will run tests of course first before I hit your case Shadow Y. I will more than likely do the same to my Wii TvC TE but Bahamma Blue and pearl 2 tone!!!
The way you paint… damn it… so good brother… I need more work on wetsand…
your pinstripe work is amazing. Keep it going Ronin!
Wow! Nice style you have inherited there.
all i can say is… H-O-L-Y SHIIIIT
It looks fuckin’ Godlike man!
:bgrin:Eternal blaze> Awesome!!! love to hear that bro and really glad you like it. I like it as well it has a certain feel to it. So Meira was born in Germany and given an Italian name I think Alba means “daybreak” in Italian but Meira sounds Spanish either way he is a bad ass and I hope I got a good likeness of him I want the bottom art to pop so I am just hammering out different ideas but I?m getting excited it’s gone be built soon I really want to see it finished.
B.W.O.A. > thanks man as always you give me mad props!!! hey when you wet sand I like to wrap the 1500 and 2000 grit around the sanding pad so I get an even sand, I have tried it with just my hand and I always go to deep on the edges so that helps a lot and I try to move my arm really fast back and forth and with the slightest pressure and this creates a real smooth surface, but the key is the buffer- it kind of melds the clear together and takes away many of the little scratches and I use nu finish Scratch Doctor for the end.
b15> thanks bro I’m still learning and I want to buy an airbrush, I have never used one but I think it will open the door to many more possibilities, I bought a bunch of transparent paint and flake paint to run some experiments and I have a cpl other ideas that I can’t wait to show. If I had more money and time I would do this all the time but I always get called out at weird hours for work and I can never get in a good groove, once the winter comes over here work will slow down so I can put 100% of my time in to sticks well 20% for my girl lol and 80 towards sticks
WOW that alba stick looks amazing!!!
Eternal Blaze, I know exactly what your feeling…Just wait till you get it the stick and that feeling will increase by tenfold LOL
Ronin, like I said before Just work your magic man and that paintjob on that TE will look great as your other paintjobs.
EVERYONE ATTENTION ATTENTION!!!
DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE MINWAX POLYCRYLIC FOR YOUR CASES IT IS F’ING CRAP.
IT RUBS OFF AFTER ABOUT 3 OR 4 MONTHS OF USE. DO NOT USE IT DO NOT USE IT.
So now I must fix all the jobs I have done and sand and spray them with a strong laquer I have found one that works great and can be applied over the clear that is on there, but for now on I will use the auto clear always plus wet sanding the auto clear you get much better results. I hope this helps those that use that crap never again will I use it
Why not use polyurethane?
because it yellows and If I have a light color it will turn it yellowish. I use a Acylic laquer now and it is super strong and does not chip when the heat of your arm heats up the clearcoat the polycrylic when it gets warm turns to a soft substance. the Laquer is intended for heat and outdoor use so it will hold up much better
