You need to open up your own store bro!
@Francys Pai, yeah it has been awhile lol. I have been busy with other things so I havent had time to do any stick work. I am working on a stick case now and I have a prototype that I’m playing around with. not much really, for those that was wanting sticks I may start back up after I get these cpl done for myself. I am still in the same shitty house so things still suck but we are planning on renting a house now instead of buying one. so we can get out of this one asap.
jpeey, yeah this art shop in my town that does pretty good biz wants me to bring a cpl down to there store. even though they have no idea what it does they still want me to show em and sell them in there. I told them no because I hate leaving them around with out me always there, too many bad things have happened to my stuff I dont want to risk it. But opening up my own store would be cool, I just need to make a bunch for sale.
Moreso good to know you’re still alive at least X3 sucks about the crappy hours though!
I don’t blame you for deciding to stick to personal orders for now with the amount of crap that got thrown around a little while back. Shame about it too.
we are going to have to talk Ronin since i have fallen for the led tops man.
@Mufasa,yeah bro just hit me up.
i see in my pic that the buttons look off, Toddler dont worry the holes are perfectly straight it’s the buttons that are slightly off. they are alot skinnier than a 30mm button. they are more like 26mm or something. I wrapped them a little to make them more secure, but they should be fine. I did that because if you end up not liking those buttons you can swap them out with pretty much anything. OR you can just change the miro switches to cherry or something.
@Francys- yeah I may just make a cpl then sell them, less stress and I seem to enjoy doing them again. not that I dont like taking orders it’s just at this point with no wood shop I should just stick to small things and small orders.
Would a small plexiglass box over the camera eliminate this issue?
Spray painting is difficult though, so props to you on your amazingly consistent work.
good job congratulations
Seriously nice pieces of art you have there.
If I could afford a custom piece of arcade stick, i’d be knocking on your door first !
thanks everybody, it means alot and is what keeps me making sticks.
@extreme yoshi fan, ahh yeah I guess that would work I never thought of that. I may do it with my new stick I’m making, nice. yeah spray painting is kinda hard because the cans do what they want. many times I have had 2 nice coats lay then on the 3rd coat the can starts to spit. Every time I get low on air pressure in da can it seems to always do that, so I have been stopping early before the cans r out of paint. waist paint but saves time.
Looks good bro i’ll keep tabs for the next order i might place.
Thanks bro! I’m going to make a couple different types of sticks for sale. Probably won’t take any orders now but after we move and I can get a place to work I will start again. This way I can work on a stick on my own time and with no pressure and then just sell it when it’s done. If I can’t sell it I have no problem keeping it lol.
Not sure how this one will turn out when it’s finally done but I think I will like the outcome. I just enjoy painting with a brush more than spray gun and I can work on it in my house whenever I want so it works out good for me and my temporary situation.
when will you be taking in new orders for arcade sticks, and do you do key/button arcade pads w/o joysticks?
thanks
I am not taking any orders right now, in the process of finding somewhere to work. with the weather changing I have to find an indoor spot to do all my work now. I will post when I am back on track. I really want to do the work that is asked of me, so for those that want work I am sorry for this temp stopage. Good news is when I do find a place I will have more time to spend working on them and less driving around from place to place and no longer have to worry about only cutting wood during the day. again, sorry for this but I will be back and with a better product. thanks everyone. I will still answer questions for those that need help.
Dibs on next stick!
Wow thats some nice custom work. Nice quality. Gives me motivation and some ideas for my hobbie.
how much would you charge me to put a sanwa jlf in a ps2 shadowblade? Im in PGH
Wow that was a fun brake lol… thats funny you quoted all those images lol. anyway. Not sure If I will keep doing this or not the weater is getting better so I will either start back up or be done with it. still not sure what to do. I have alot of other things going on so working the stick making thing back in might be a little tuff. about that JLF send me a pic of the shadowblade so I know what I have to do to fit it thx.
does it have to be opened?
How much do your sticks generally go for? I had an eyegasm looking at your sticks, wow.
. I can’t remember it’s been so long. I was thinking about starting back up again, the weather is getting better so I can prob paint outside. been looking non stop for a house to buy or rent so I’ve been busy. until I get out of this crappy apt. I cant really do much.
