I have no idea about seimitsu switches, but the ones from an OSBF-30 popped right in.
how does it feel?
is it closer to the seimitsu ps-14 kns or the sanwa obsf/ns?
Hate to sound like a broken record here, but I’m still a bit curious about the fit with plexi’s. Do you have one you could pop a couple of buttons in Toodles?
No, sorry I dont have any plexi tops.
It seems closest to OSBF 30’s. The plunger size and rim look like a perfect match, which just a hair wider than the KN plunger. There’s a hair more side to side wobble in the plunger when fully pressed in, but putting in Sanwa microswitch fixes that. Plunger travel looks and feels the same. Overall length is like 1mm more than a KN, so a few mm longer than OSBF.
Sure, they’re not official Sanwa or Seimitsu buttons. But it’s not like these are Hori button knock offs or SE buttons. These feel good, and I dont even think I’ll worry about swapping in Sanwa microswitches.
Keep in mind, I’ve only seen the one I got in the mail today, but I’m excited to get more for my sticks. There’s no way I’d deal with screw ins in MadCatz sticks.
That’s pretty awesome news all around. Time to try some Rollies.
any chance of a screw in version of this button somewhere down the line?
At this time No, sorry.

Out of curiousity, what’s your issue with screw-ins?
I so far have had much better success with them as snap-ins like to ‘break’ on me.
I’m actually pretty intrigued on this - I’ve got a stick I’m thinking of doing that requires 8 yellow and 8 clears to mix and match tops/sides…and this sounds like it would save me a pretty good clip with regards to the buttons (the current stick price is RIDICULOUS, so I’m trying ot shave it to the realm of possability).

to each of his own, but with the screw ins, it tends to pressurize and mess up the artwork if screwed in too tight. also, its more time consuming to put those in and they tend to get loose easier.
with the snap ins, all you need to do is just push it in, maybe sand the sides a little, but with the screw ins, you’ll need a screw driver/chisel and a hammer to lightly tighten it.

Any chance of you getting violet buttons?

@Ponyboy
Sent an email regarding 6 additional clear buttons, also did the buttons make it in this weekend?
Awesome, can’t wait for them to arrive at my house!
Also if you are taking color requests how about some orange?
i need to order me some of these soon…
SW-68 Sanwa Micro-Switch just arrived. The 30mm Pushbuttons will hopefully be in on Thursday. Had some issues with customs. I do apologize for the delay.
Thanks,
Ponyboy
What is the best way to order? PM or email? I thinking of getting a few sets of the translucent snap ins and Sanwa Switches.
Parts arrive today?
