Struggled against a decapre recently, any idea what to do against ex teleport shenanigans? I was testing a few things and jump forward/back hard kick seems legit as it stops drill and escapes the slam, but I was wondering if anyone else has better ways to get out other then blocking?

Guy is a tough matchup. Without a reversal to worry about Guy’s buffed walkspeed with bushin run lets him have sustained pressure on Rolento all day. Ex Delta Escape doesn’t help cause Guy can get right back on top of you with Bushin run. No idea how to fight this matchup.
Ive got a few things but PSN is below average so I never get much practice, only lab work during my university periods unless I travel to sessions.
If one hit of rolento’s crouch mp hits on CH, is he at an advantage? It is usually plus 6 on hit but I assume thats if all the hits connect
I personally love that he doesn’t have an abusable reversal. And he is good enough as it is, I think. Weak, but good enough.

Couldn’t get slide to connect after ex rekkas in the corner vs ryu. Is it character specific?
The negativity, from me atleast is for 2 reasons.
2.In the slight possibility there will be another balance patch whit the disk version or something, capcom should be well aware he fucking sucks so they can fix him.

Whoooaaa buddy, slow down there. Yeah, I’m not ones of those people in denial who thinks Rolento is secretly good (seriously, check other threads, people actually think he’s great!), but he’s not one of the worst in the game, and he certainly isn’t as bad as Honda.
He is just one of those characters, who unfortunately will end up having quite a few horrible 3-7 matchups, but will also have mostly 5-5 matchups. I would just be happy if EX MDE worked better, and he got the 6F st.mp back. At least then he wouldn’t have to just absolutely take the ass rapings he receives currently.
This would be absolutely phenomenal. Last night, I got rolled harder than I ever have in a game by Elena. Her legs spaced me out just far enough to leave me frustrated. I think they’re slightly longer than s.FP, so I panicked when my main tool was taken away from me and auto-switched to Sagat.
I just placed 3rd at my local with Rolento. I lost to Darkchilds decapre he was fucking around with me even if I did beat him Lud was waiting for me in winners with his decapre they both was just messing around though. Rolento is super fun though. I have 5k with my Rolento online.
