Yeah, I can do it from a standing light punch, but nothing from crouching. I don’t have a huge problem of executing after a dash, but that’s probably the least opportune time to use it. KoF loves them half circles and it makes it really hard to play a character at even a moderate level.
Ah such wonderful conversation happening. I’ve started practicing with Raiden again and will probably be making up another team to mess around with.
Raiden is terrifying. Has all the tools necessary to be a successful anchor. I don’t have any current interest in playing him since I typically like more mobile characters. I’m looking to replace terry out of my team, but not sure if I’ll get anyone good enough by thursday.
Yeah I know KOF doesn’t get the turn out yet, but we are gonna try anyway. Sorry I haven’t been able to make it out to Thursdays recently have meetings those nights at 7 so it’s pretty tough.
That’s legit. I’d motion for moving the day to some other time if it would improve the turnout.

Anyone else watch The Runback? Or at least the archives. I think I’m coming close to a team I’d like to play in KoF. I’ll be able to feel it out a bit more when I pick it up next week sometime. I’m hyped.

And don’t worry too much about trying to master a character right now. Play around, your final team will probably not resemble what you start out with so I’d suggest just doing some mission trials with a few characters that might interest you to see how they play.
When Thursday comes around we’ll be able to help you out a little more with questions you might have. Also whatever team you decide to bring for Thursday dont worry about using HD combos right now. Learn an easy combo at least for each character and that should do for now at least enough for you to have fun on Thursday :).
