Its nice having 2 people who are at least somewhat defensively minded. If I’m out counter attacking and have the ball stolen it warms my heart to see someone taking the goal while I’m frantically trying to get back.
This is my 5 year old sons new favorite game. I only let him play coop or vs the ai by himself, but hes having a blast. Really only good enough to go for the opening kickoff, then drives around randomly until he hits the ball now and then. Pulled off a nice pass to him which he put into the goal, probably entirely by chance.
His favorite thing is the bubbles boost power. He yells “Bubble Power!” when he boosts at the kick off.
Fuckin scored 5 goals last night and we still lost 7-5 thanks to my shitty teammates
I bought this yesterday, yet to play it…probably gonna give it a whirl monday or tuesday.

I game with friends and if they weren’t my boys I would tell them off hardcore.
These mofo’s so thirsty for the ball that they ruin each others shots cuz of it or knock it in a shit position for us and a clear shot to goal for the other team.
Gotta do some 10 steps ahead shit and just fly across the field like an elegant hawk swooping down on its pray to get goals cuz of it.
I havent played the game yet, but I played enough sports in my life to understand how teamwork is.
You’d get shit like that in the Be A Pro mode in NHL, where dudes thought they were Gretzky, and would get the puck in our end, go coast to coast with it, only to lose the puck because they dunno how to pass, or waste a potential scoring chance.
i was goalie and the nigga hit me out of the way to try and hit the ball himself and ofc he missed
happened to me once too with a friend…Wass goalie and was gonna knock the ball clear to their side and instead my buddy smacks me because he’s not looking at other cars and only that ball, and he sends me flying a baby taps the ball leading to it just moving an inch…I was mad salty at that shit.
So how hard is this game to learn? I’m assuming it’s basically soccer with cars?
I am horrible at racing games, that gonna be an issue?
for the first 2-3 hours you will be running around like a headless chicken. after that i would say that you will start to grasp all the mechanics and shit in the game
and from there you will slowly but surely improve the more you play. As for you not being good at racing games doesn’t matter at all, imo.
I will say this: The moment you learn how to hit other players out of the way rather than leap for an unreachable ball is a revelation.
I enjoy driving alongside opponents and steering them away from the ball.
I enjoy punting opposing goalies so hard that they get ejected out off the top of their goal like some vagina cannon
Also its definitely one of those easy to learn and start off with, but hard as fuck to master games.
Even with shitty teammate a mistake from myself and one nigga tryna be spiderman i STILL one man army’d dat shyt!
A not-great match still had one hella memorable end.

I love how you go AFK mid match ,then rage againt your own teammates at the end. Classy!
Mainly play with a group of friends in unranked. Either 2v2 or 3v3 depending on how many we have.
