RLIDs
My season is doing okay. I am doing 3v3, but I am finding it a bit too chaotic. Thinking of switching to 2v2. Currently I am 6-2 and am using the Express. This game is mad hype. I’d love for there to be commentating as a future patch though. Anyone have any tips for building up my skill set? I feel like there is too much rushing down of the ball instead of building a solid strat.
3v3 is perfect just because of field size
4v4 is a fuck fest
I dont know if im ever going to be home again…
Fuck my job
I wonder if I can pay my student loans if I get a roommate and bartend and pump out shitty apps and do thinga to make odd money.
That is if my career as a professional RL midfielder falls through
I’m starting to lean towards 3v3. My teammates do too much stupid shit in 4v4
streaming some /nickguy0320
To complete the set
2v2 is my perfection - both players need to be able to hold their shit, up-front and in-goal.
No carries for fuck-ups: you mess up, you conceed a goal.
Outstanding pace, especially if everyone’s on a headset.
Have to learn to pass and use the walls effectively, you’ll see the most creative set-plays in 2v2 without a doubt.
1v1: awesome training tool. Great for improving 2v2 performance. A bit too slow and clumsy at the low-level.
It’s why they’ve appropriately named it “chaos”.
i still think 3v3 is the ideal way to play , again , because i feel that is when real strategy comes into play.
LOL
HILARIOUS GAMES TONIGHT ofc right after i turned off my stream
Play “just one more game” end up in a team w dudes named kcr and oob (with numbers but i domt remember those). Kcr chokes a save and we lose first game. Second game me and oob playing in SINK mad bounce passes off the corners to each other to score i had like 3 goals 5 assists lmfao savage.
Next game, oobs on the other team!!! so i start tlking hella shit about kcr all game. Will edit and upload LMFAO
part 3 coming soon
Learned a new tactic for teams with communication; whenever a goalie tries to deflect the ball away from the corners, any time they miss the goal is wide open for a shot.
So with a team you can call out that and someone can swap with you as you deflect, so if you miss or not, they’ll cover for you.
My corner game is awful. I need to do something about it. Played a ton of PC guys today. Never noticed them before.
prequel
and part 3
One of the best ways to get end to end without boost is to keep front flipping while you are driving.
Just got the highest score out of everyone in a game we lost. Woof.
People are too thirsty in this game.
I’ve been playing a decent amount of this, add me WillySRK for some games
Anyone got a equivalent to the footsies handbook for positioning and court vision for rocket league/soccer?
Having a hard time teaching the concept to my gf since she’s tunnel visioning the fuck out of the ball, as in just driving straight to it without looking at her opponents or team mates, and every advice I give to her is just going over her head.

Just tell her to slow down. The ball aint going anywhere. while shes playing your gonna have to sit there and remind her of her goal. Much like teaching footsies shes gonna wana go all in. Tell her “this match were just gonna wait for openings” or “this match were gonna sit all the way back and play goalie while observing the ball.” And drill it over and over. When she makes a mistake softly go. “What was the goal this match? Keep back and slow down.” I think then point her in the rifght direction to attack. If she can do well like that she will start to apreciate that sitting back and or slowing down = nice things and nice things = feel goods. Thats all i got. Simple teaching 101 lol
