Hey Brad, what are you up to day to day?
Played some Rumblefish2 and Neo Battle Colliseum with Evan/Wilson last week, and RF2 looks like a blast. About to pick up Burnout 4 in prep for Evan’s visit.
Besides that, just reading poker books and moving up stakes. One poker site that I had left gave me $10 in my account to play with and I had a good run, turning that into $130 in a day before cashing out of the site again. :party:

been playing drag-on dragoon 2, still need to beat the game 2 more times to get all 3 endings.
also playing fatal frame 3 every once a while.
still having a good time in ffxi, finished G1 but now i have to wait for my static to do theirs too.
so im leveling pld right now. want to try tanking for a little bit…

Not much going on here, I still play some games here & there, but not with nearly the gusto I used to.
I’m getting old & my reflexes aren’t what they used to be.
Being poor doesn’t really help on the game front either, basically anything I’ve been playing is something I’ve beat before (Fatal Frame, Top Spin, KOTOR), or stuff I never bothered to finish (Chu Chu Rocket, Powerslave).

Jon, I still gotta beat Fatal Frame 1 and 2. I liked them a lot better than the RE series. That being said, I gotta beat RE4 as well.
I finished with SotN after getting a crapton of swords and armor drops. Didn’t feel like hunting around for the last 2%. Currently playing FFIX again in between FFXI. I guess I’ll post again next month. Haha.

Hey Randall. I think the community is dead for anything Capcom related. There is a small community for tekken, but they seem more into money-games. Soul Calibur 3 I don’t know about, but there seems to be some of following for it since there are already a few tournaments announced for it, one of them being this weekend at Arena 51.
Anyone doing anything this weekend? Just curious to see if anyone wants to meet up for any gaming.

I’m still playing FFXI. Got BLM to 75 and am trying to decide between RDM and BST for next job to 75.

I’m currently playing DQ8. It’s a lot of fun, esp since the last DQ game I played was 5 back on the NES. =P I never played the translated 6 and I heard 7 was awful so I never picked it up.
I’m living in Maryland, but I do travel to DC once in awhile. Life here is more fun than Rochester. Rent is about the same, except all utilities are included in rent and the place I live in is about 1,600 square feet with 3 bedrooms. It’s pretty ritzy area and rent isn’t too bad split 3 ways. Tekken is kinda big down here, but I’m studying for my A+ certification exam so I have only been playing Mario Kart DS in short bursts.
Dippy is definitely out of Rochester and is in the process of Ebaying his 360 Core system. I’m avoiding buying anything at the moment till I have a solid job. My current job is great, but it won’t pay all my bills, so I need to be very careful.
DQ 8 definitely looks fun, but the Akira Toriyama art-style doesn’t do much for me anymore. 
Yeah, the Toriyama art style sucks. =/ So far I’ve been having fun with it though.
Wow, almost everyone is out of Rochester. Kind of ironic that we’re still posting in a Rochester, NY thread. How long have you been in Maryland? Good luck with your new job and A+ exam. =)
I’m waiting for a price drop on Dragon Quest 8. Waiting for it to hit $30, but the lowest I’ve seen it around here is about $37. I should be able to pass the exam with a few more weeks of studying, although my eyes are bugging out at the fact that I may actually be able to find a job here and they pays really well! Luckily I found a place here where utilities are included in my rent and the rent is the same as I was paying in Rochester…so I can run my web server again, but not feel guilty about it this time.
BTW, Mario Kart DS, Animal Crossing, along with Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time are on sale at Circuity City this week! Grab two of those Circuity City holiday booklets at the front door…and cut out the $10 off any game $29.99 coupons…and get new DS games for about $20-25. I’m waiting for a bunch of games to bomb this Christmas and see if there are any major sales the day after Christmas. =)
oh cool, definitely keep us updated Bobby. My gf got me the nintendogs DS so I’ll probably pick those games up eventually. I’m such a dork so I picked up PPf for like $15 and been playing that once in a while. I also have been raising a puppy on Ndogs (yea its a childish game but its pretty fun and at least the AI is good unlike some games =p). But as for some sales im thinking maybe Toys R’ Us might do a buy 2 get 1 free for ds games. Since I see them doing it for GBA/PS2/XBX every so often. Oh and MK:DS is pretty fun, especially the old old snes and mk64 courses.
