Obviously Rufus is very capable, but you probably are going to need 2 characters. You might run into somebody that can pick Rufus apart and you will be fucked.
Although SFIV is new, it is still built on SFII which is damn near 20 years old. You have a big mountain to climb, good luck.
What do you think about Ken as an alt?
Ken is good, and learning him will help your all around game. I do not use him though, I rather use Ryu personally. I have seen some new tricks for Ken that show his Kara throwing ability. He can throw you from a full character away while he is out of reach from attack.
Yeah. I’ve listened to just about all of Gootecks podcast’s and i’ve learned a ton about the game in general. I cant do the Kara throw right now because I use an xbox controller. Well I can, but I have to change positioning in my hands, and it throws me off, so I dont really do it much at all.
But thats probably what I’ll do. Ill probably main rufus, and then alt Ken. Thanks again for the input.
