Do cool downs end faster if you do something? Like contiuing combos, or landing something specific? Cause it looked like some of those cool downs jumped down in time remaining occasionally.
Same can be said about Samurai Deeper Kyo ps fghter ( which is Superior Inyuyasha imo)
We also have Phantom breaker that attempted this too (perfected imo).
I don’t stream, I’m international, and I’ve received a key. There’s no “catch” to getting keys; they’re going out in small waves (as mentioned on their twitter ) as to not overload servers, I’d imagine.
I’ve made a few changes, but they don’t seem to get accepted (and the layout on that thing is kind of the worst). Do you know if this is still the current knowledge base that we should be contributing to?
I’m going to continue to dump the stuff I find into the Rising Thunder forums, but just want to know if there’s an active wiki or anything.
For anyone wanting to use a 6-button stick (or just for anyone who hates using all eight buttons), I have a kind-of workaround with joy2key.
Set a profile for two controllers, making sure to make the joystick motions (up, down, left, right) the same for each.
Set the first controller (normals, throw, and “change”) as:
LMH
CxT
(‘x’ = “don’t use”)
For the “Change” button, set it using the “Special” tab and pick “Use the setting of other joystick temporarily”, setting it to “Joystick 2”.
Set the second controller (special moves and super) as:
123
xxS
Done. So now, to use any special moves or your super, make sure to hold “C” and press the proper button. You could, of course, put your super or throw on MK if you want, or put Super and Throw on MK and HK on each joystick configuration (so you always have access to them regardless of if you’re holding down “Change”). Entirely up to you.
Hope this helps some people. Now, back to watching people stream and getting sad I’m not in the alpha.
Question, for the alpha sign up, all you do is create an account and it automatically signs you up right? Then you get an email with the code on a first come first serve basis?
I wonder why they need three separate Special buttons to begin with, since based on the primer @trag posted, holding a direction and a special button doesn’t seem to change its function. The controls could easily map to six buttons if it just had one Special button and the specials were just done with 5S, 6S and 2S.
