I knew of Iwata’s involvement in Kirby, Smash and EarthBound but not Pokemon. He fit the whole Kanto region onto a tiny GB cart when Game Freak didn’t think it could be done? That is nothing short of impressive.
Also, I didn’t know he programmed Balloon Fight, which has been one of my favorite NES games since I played it via the first Animal Crossing.
Mourning, not my type of thing tbh. “Oh he’s gone” no. He was here. The fella existed. Fuck all that other nonsense, the man lived, and for quite a long time and I’m pretty sure he had his fair share of problems and good times too. The man was a businessman, programmer and a pretty humorous fella while he was here.
Getting worked up and sad over shit like this, never a good thing. People come and go, enjoy what you have and what you do for as long as you possibly can and bounce when the time comes.
Life is a cycle shaped like a circle, the same thing happens everywhere all the time, it’s best to not dwell on things out of your control and relax while you have the time and the luxury.
There’s gonna be work/play/rest, always.
Kneejerk reactions is definitely here to stay though, especially if it’s somebody y’all know then I can understand that too. It’s not a good feeling and shouldn’t be suppressed but expressed eh…not good with words but expressed in as cheerful way as possible or somethin. “But he died” No, he lived life he had it made and did what he could while he could, and it shows.
always saw Iwata as some guy nintendo tried its hardest to push forward to make him a likable person in the spotlight they were probably tired of miyamoto getting all the fame
Iwata was a leader. He lead the charge but was very hands on as well. You saw the stories. Miyamoto is very talentes but he is not the leader iwata was. There was a reason iwata ran the company
