When he was making Haloid, starting eps of Dead Fantasy he also had a relatively shitty computer IIRC. This man didn’t let that stop him from doing what he wanted. I remember him either making a post or an interview about it and all the different work arounds he did to make Haloid.
I hated RWBY more than anything in this entire fucking universe oh my god that was the worst piece of shit I’ve ever seen in my life.
With that said, I actually do feel VERY sad that Monty Oum is gone. No joke, I am legitimately bummed out and it’s distressing to me. To be taken at 33 is just a massive, untimely travesty, especially when he left behind an incomplete work. This truly is a tragedy and I am sorry to hear it.
I was catching up on RWBY when I thought, you know what, I’ll check the wiki to see if anything has been posted about him finishing Dead Fantasy. I know he’s been busy with RWBY and Red vs Blue, but it doesn’t hurt to check. Then I found the news of his death on the wiki. Thinking that it might have been some kind of hoax, I started surfing news websites. Then I knew the story was true. It’s like some of the most obscure people are dying randomly. Nujabes, Monty, damn who’s next?
Started RWBY since they tossed the first 4 eps on Netflix and digging it so far. Animation is abit jarring, but man liking the music as well. I diff out of respect for the guy will pick up the first season and OST next pay day.
