Yeah, when I heard about it, I went and downloaded Jill the same day I heard. I don’t really care that much for costumes and knew I was never going to use Shuma, so I didn’t bother there, but yeah…Man, I do kinda wish I still had my Dreamcast copy of MVC2 though.

Don’t fall for the hype, it SHIPPED 2 million. That doesn’t mean 2 million people bought it, that means 2 million units were bought by stores to put on shelves, which doesn’t make a difference to Capcom.

Marval had a bad week in Michigan, UMvC3 was canceled at two tournaments (the Michigan Ranbats and Walraven Weekly #12) due to lack on entrants.
When Capcom needs more money, they’ll make MvC4.
UMvC3 is doomed to stay the way it is for the rest of eternity. Better get used to it.
Or play better games (plenty of those out there)…
SF5 is bound to happen before a possible…MvC4 if there’s one.
A UMvC3 balance patch is not going to happen. You guys can now feel how the SFxT community feels about not having a balance patch, either.
All this really means is that they want to negotiate new deals. Disney games are 99% licensed at this point. So it doesn’t mean that xyz game you like will never be made. Having the digital versions removed is a pretty raw thing to do but, it’s probly within their rights.
TBH I’d rather any new marvelish vs games to just get rid of the marvel characters and just swap their palettes to capcom characters, preserving the character mechanics.
But at least you got a patch that turned that turd into a “playable” game :smokin:
