there is NO more spots for comp… CGL is dead… no one goes to PSM… Familiy Fun is dope for 3s, but not much else since machines have all been ASS as of late… im seriously over at the tilt playing 3s/t5 like everyday because of work.

well, i wasn’t going to post cause posting is for chumps, but zaza, chill out buddy. The only reason sf is dying in rico is because there are no places to play. marvel is dead, cvs2 has a lot of competition randomly spread around, ggxx is played by bill and matt… sometimes lawrence. That only leaves 3s and T5. Tekken scene is really big. I think everyone is pretty much playing it now, and it’s only going to get bigger as time moves on. 3s is a funny game because nobody is really playing it that seriously. Everyone plays 3s on some level or another, but the game has the problem of everyones opinions of it being mixed. Nobody in rico cares to be the best at 3s. Christian and albert rarely even play it. 3rd place spot is really really open because no one except sebastian and maybe nam is tring to step up their game. Nam just learned a bunch of cheater ass genei jin combos, sebastian studies japanese videos for a living. Oh oh, matt got pretty damn good at 3s lately. I personally think the game gets really boring after a few plays. If we’re trying to improve overall quality of rico play, i’m not going to pick “fun” characters in 3s and i think thats the problem, if you can’t have fun playing a game, why fuckin play it? Stone cold faces and bad sportsmanship may be something thats from the past, but it doesn’t make the scene any better. The reason everything was so much more popular back then was the presence of shgl, and the fact that marvel was still fresh. There is no central playing location now. basically, uci sticks to their own area, rico plays within ourselves, venturlng as far as james games on a bold day, and family fun is too busy jerking off to FF 3s to care about what goes on outside of there. The only thing in the fighting game scene that i’ve seen that looks as healthy as it was, is at sunnyvale golfland. That place gets packed with people playing cvs2 and tekken, both cvs2 machines have constant lines on them and people aim to take the top players off the machine. Unfortunately, it’s a 400 mile drive. So yeah, i didn’t structure any of this post and forgot what the hell i was trying to accomplish so i’ll just end it here.
Just go home for summer so we can play at svgl jesse. Hahahaha, and yeah, pick A LOT of chun I need to play against it A LOT the more you play, the more you learn. Bay Area is lucky though cause everything is so close together, like neighborhoods and shit like that. In it’s origins Los Angeles was originally going to be centered around public transportation, making it a closer city, but big oil companies bought that shit out and made a shit load of freeways making dependance on automobiles. That’s why SoCal is so spread out. NorCal just has a lot of people in a tighter space so it’s easier to commute around. Sacramento and CenCal rarley ever hit up SVGL it’s just people like from maybe 30-45 mins away. Damn, fuckin no more History Channel for me. LET’S PLAY!

So did Jesse. You know, businesses don’t just pop up out of nowhere. Acting like people can’t change shit from within is the same as riding a wave that you believe will eventually wash up.
What I was essentially saying is that we make SF what it is. Not some guy that opens an arcade. Yes, an arcade helps. I’m still trying to do that despite what anybody says, and it has detracted from the scene as far as my presence is concerned… but there ARE other players. I’m not that important. Never was, really… but playing periodically and trying to beat the obvious #1 guy is the point. The guy who can serve anyone at whatever he wants to is who I’d call that #1 guy. Do I even have to say who that is? Why can’t anyone else make it obvious? Why do I only hear about who’s top at this and that? How come I never see it? Cuz I’m never there? I don’t see how that wouldn’t further prove my point… because I step in and out, yeah… but everytime I turn my head towards it, I see Albert kicking people’s asses… and I’m not talking between… Reset, Bill, DucJr and Oscar in MvC2… because those guys are pretty much isolated in that category. I mean… even Bill would tell you… unless he’s winning, he doesn’t like any other game! But whatever this kid touches, he can bring it, right?
And what… am I hopping on his nuts? No… to tell you the truth, I never really liked Albert very much and he knows this, too. (sup foo) But it wasn’t until lately that I realized that just because he doesn’t fit in with the way things were going before he came on the radar, doesn’t mean that he’s not with the program… shit. It didn’t occur to me that he was making the fucking program until I realized that one day… whenever he beats people, they say something stupid to save face, he validates them with a chuckle or head nod and the loser walks away happy. Like SF doesn’t matter. Fine, you oblivious fucking loser… you don’t practice too much and you can still do good here and there and you don’t care about the game yadda yadda yadda… stop playing, then. Always hopping on whatever wave you can catch and never making any waves of your own. Lame.

Wow are you freakin serious Bill best in GGXX in RICO LMAO Bill is pretty good but not that good bro. Me and Matt are prolly first and second in GGXX easily. and Secondly in 3S you can’t really say who’s first in that game because Me,Albert, and Christian are pretty much on the same level dude. Also you can’t forget about Sebastian in 3S too because his Oro is a freakin beast. and in CVS2 i think should be up there with the top dawgs too man. Now if i’m not added in this simply because you guys don’t count me or Matt as a part of Rico coo then but if so just to let you guys know just because you guys hang out all the time and play at someone’s house periodically doesn’t mean you guys are the best at things because fully blown i’ll play anyone in any game and be sure to take somebody’s pride with me. Well, looks like the Gamestop near me finally shows the bundle in their database. So I had my order edited from just game to bundle. $20 more since deposit is $25 for it and I already had $5 from the game alone.
Maybe he’s saying… we all suck except for albert, and nothings being done to change that, because we’re all… uhh… I think we don’t care enough? Happy to be 2nd best or 3rd best or what the fuck ever? Noone has motivation to move forwards, to attempt to affect change, something like that. If that is in any way what he was saying, then he’s right, because I know for me, I used to like, ‘practice’ and stuff alot. But now, I don’t really care because I feel that on any given day if I try hard enough I can win… except vs albert ~.~ Also… noone ever wants to play besides ademola =] If jesse and nam were down to play more than once every 2 weeks, i’d always be down. But other than them, I don’t really have anyone to play in an attempt to improve. I never really get better from playing Albert, I just get parried alot and annoyed…
apparently my sarcasm is above you… yea… you guys are top two in GGXX in Riverside… And this next statement is TAKING nothing from your skill level… But realize you two are the ONLY people who played that game seriously and on a competitive level… I still havent played #R for longer than an hour even though ive had it for 5 months…
im not hating… but from my experience Christian and Albert > you. and thats just my opinion… i have a easier time fighting you than albert and christian, but that statement dont mean shit coz i hella suck at 3s.
i speak from tourney results when i make that statement. and thats the only game that us three and honorable mention to David are serious about… youve said it yourself that you dont care about the game and dont play it as much… As for Matt, execution wise, Matt is top notch probably the best… i never see him fuck up… but he still lacks in actually using that execution to get him wins…
but yea… i dont feel like quoting anymore… so uhh… tekken 5 card system is just whatever… i dont really care about wins or losses… coz im still trying to learn the game… hell majority of rico outside of you DO not have above a %50 win rate on their card… what does that mean you ask? your steve is hella cheap.
