I don’t think anyone is willing to go through the trouble of organizing Pentland on a weekly basis. Tilt is probably the best place to go for T5. I went to JG yesterday with Jose and Bill and it was pretty desert until Christian and crew showed up for 3S.
Everyone has different shit over the week that restraints time for games but I think that the issue here is WHERE to play. Since everyone in RiCo is scattered around the IE, I would say that the best thing to do is play at Tilt till close then hit up JG. I know that not everyone has the resources to do this on a regular basis but it’s probably the best way to go if the majority of the people here are serious about ‘rejuvenating’ the scene within RiCo.
i will agree albert is the or one of the best in mvc2 from rico. Still the best sent/cap i’ve played. with eugene and magnus at a close 2nd if they are reading.

Jesse’s Jin is really solid and tricky too but i think he can beast with Nina as well. And sorry for Fuckin your biotch ass Miyagi up with Clubbin Steve but i had to show you the realness dawg. eventhough you have a like 77% win rate it’s good to know that i put about 25% of those losses up on that batch. you guys are all really solid and i hope when the game comes out on console we can get down for real and play more often. GO JESSE! Nina is dopeness, I’ve been with her since day 1…god dammit though, she’s turning into a whore now, even Ricky is picking her up. I have mixed feelings. Anyways, last year Pentland was the big thing, since Me, David, Alex and Brendon are SUPA close to UCR, maybe we should revive Pentland again. It was really fun last year playing like almost weekly, and I got to see people I don’t see now like Lawrence, Matt, Oscar, etc. I’ve just been swamped with classes but maybe the week after FFA tourney or next quarter. People just need to be assertive and take control of the Pentland thing for it to happen.

PS after this 3S season will be over for me until 2 months before EVO again…in the meanwhile who wants to beef up at Tekken 5? Its safe to say that T5 will be the new game for Riverside to beef up on…but what we have to worry about is the Tekken players ( a whole different scene) those pad players and people like Super T,Manu and Mike ( yeah Yun Mike…you bitches will respect Bryan Fury and GunJack…TRUST ME)…I dont want to be like some of those Tekken homos that read FAQ’s all day and practice strings on console…so I suggest every once in a while on Friday we roll up to Video 94 in Walnut and practice…its a quarter to continue…not bad and there are some pretty cheap Fei/Lee/Lei players up there too.

Haha, thanks man, that means a lot to me coming from an old school player like yourself. I’ve been practicing a lot of 3S recently, but I think my CVS2 and #R skills took a hit as a result. 
Also, thanks for the props Lawrence and Jesse, but Nam is right. My execution is good, but my thinking and application during a match is about 50% of what it should be.
Anyway, I’m still down to compete for a spot to represent RiCo in the 5 on 5. I can play on Thursday and Friday night to beef up in 3S, but when are we finishing the round robin tourney?
