This was sent after I beat him something like 5/6 fights and all he used was Ryu/Ken/Sagat/Akuma.
I’ve had a few interesting ones. Most of the positive ones are from folks who see me pick Dan first, then also pick Dan for a mirror-match, lose and send me a message of congratulation. That’s always nice. I always reply complimenting their Dan Hibiki Cosplay.
Some arrogant fellow on GFWL decided to random when he saw me pick Dan, randomed to Abel, was random-ultraing (ultraed through both of course) and lost horribly. He ends up in my next ranked match and immediately picks Sagat, narrowly wins and then tells me to ‘Go back to training n00b’.
Not so much about responses but i made my way through g3 today using dan (now on 2), and got 5 friend requests in the day.

To contribute to the thread, waaay back when I first got this game, I got a ragequit or two from Akuma players. I’ve never been sent anything but compliments since then, though. Not that I get a lot of messages. I shouldn’t hate on Akuma players too much; I had a close match with one, and when I just barely won, he sent “aaaaaaah you bastard! good game bro!”.
Actually, I beat one guy’s Chun-li with Dan and he demanded a rematch. I obliged, and he used Dan too! We had a great string of matches after that, most of which he won. It was great fun.
Absolutely word for word character for character exact. I imagine a team of cytologists wouldn’t be able to crack his code given a year, an unlimited budget, and all the redbull they can drink.
Its best to just ignore people like this, I played this guy too and he said he reported me. He must report ALOT of people. Sony isnt going to do shit, they are smart enough to know they cant ban anyone for using a move thats in the game even if repeatedly. It was for the same thing too, I knee trapped him and threw.
He sent me a message about “I reported you scrub, for unsportsmanlike conduct. Try beating me with more than one move next time.” I just responded saying good luck with that, and said its about what works not what looks good, if you are unable to stop a particular tactic I will keep using it, Its your job to learn how to counter it, not my responsibility to give you a chance. Then he sent another long winded message about scrub this and scrub that blaa blaa blaa, I had enough and just sent “SAIKYO!!!”.
Its just not worth it to banter back and fourth with people like this, To them, if you beat them with one tactic, they think thats all you do to everyone and have no other game, there is no convincing them otherwise.
My first g1 final win was against a rog, that guy wanted to regain his honor so bad, he didnt even ask for a rematch, seconds later I was spammed with fight requests. I said, another time man, add me and I’ll play you again later. He still kept sending fight requests.
Maybe I’m just an ass, but I kind of enjoy arguing with people like that and poking holes in everything they say. I was kind of bored anyways and had time to burn.
His nametag had the words “SS” and “Reich” in it. Somehow, I don’t think you’re the ass in that situation.

Recently got some ragequits from a Fei Long and an Akuma. Slowly but surely, I’m climbing the Saikyo ladder.
Reaching G1 you think they try to attempt to learn but no. My first G1 rage quit, so proud lol.

Something about him witnessing Saikyo spirit? And I’m guessing he’s just complaining about lag If he joined your game its his own fault about the lag, even still if you joined his he could have booted you if he didn’t like the look of the bars
I don’t know if this be the place to post this, but I had a rage quit after a humiliating loss against a Bison player who kept asking me to join a game and play him. Eventually I did and after some serious spam by him I lost, he put on that angry red face and left.
I think he knew Dan was ready for a comeback.
Krackatoa sent “You need more Saikyo Spirit !”, to which he replied “You need to stop living on the other side of the world to avoid lag !”
I got a few more rage quits today, including one from a Sakura, after I won ONE round.
I don’t send messages to bitch at anyone, but seriously, these people need to grow the fuck up. How do they think beginning Dan users feel, who are used to mop the floor 24/7 by the endless sea of scrub Ryus, Kens, Akumas and Sagats?
In this way, some of Dan’s winquotes are scarily true. For example, “The path to Saikyo power is no cakewalk! You couldn’t handle it!” It’s so true. Dan isn’t for those with a weak will!
Forgot to also mention that another guy picked Dan and we had an epic taunting match. Even though he got out the Super Taunt, I somehow won. ???
Seriously, it does seem that the developers put a little bit of zen insight into his win quotes. XD
