Every time I lose to Blanka, it’s mandatory for me to send the message “I thought we were bros!”.

dont, bother, go into traing hold block with dan, ex danku, continue holding block, set it to replay, if it hits deep enough they can easily reversal srk (you cant mash though you actually have to time it).
Time it huh, well that’s a saving grace. The good news is the move is pretty fast you’d really have to be on your toes to react to it and get the reversal out. Let’s hope no one else finds out about this 
They already do, I learned this in the Ryu match up thread in the ryu forum.

I had this guy last week call me “Cheap as fuck loser with no life” because he jumped in 50x and I just kept LP DPing him and running away taunting. He then called me a “Turtling scrub, without Dan you are worse than a scrub”

Dan ain’t respected has a character.So when someone pick him . they usually think like this

So ppl tend to hate fighting Dan or showing what they’re capable off vs a Dan player.They don’t take the match seriously because most ppl expect that every ppl picking dan don’t take the match seriously either.
So if they lose they don’t feel bad and if they win they don’t feel stupid by tryng to defeat Dan .
The truth there’s 3 type of Dan
1:The true Dan player that MAIN DAN
2:The Sore looser that pick Dan so if they lose they don’t feel Bad and they brag when they win
3:Picking him for the hell of it
Everyone will pick Dan at some point.I pick him for the hell of it.To see how many win streak i can get with him .
Plus because it’s just for taunting and that remind ppl that sf4 it’s first and firstmost … a video game and mean to have fun.
I don’t main Dan but I do play him seriously (unless you count him as a second main), so where does that leave me?
bad form by another dan player. I played a dan yesterday who was very solid. He beat me in championship. As I was composing a mail to give him props, he sent me one telling me F my dan. So I sent him a message back saying way to judge on one random match, wheres the love for a fellow dan player? So he sent a reply mail with “f your dan, want some player matches?” so we played 7 matches and I won out 4-3. When I was ahead 4-2 he sent me a friend request :wgrin:.
Its just an example of not putting too much stock in 1 win in championship mode. He played extremely un predictably, that was his strength, I mean literally he almost never followed a pattern very good mix up. He was very succeptable to select tactics of mine though,such as mk danku cross up throw/koryu mix up. had some adaptability issues with things like that. But still one of the best fellow Dan players I played to date, wish he wouldnt have such a chip on his shoulder.
Too bad yous are on PS3. I have always used Dan just for fun once he showed up in the sereies. Im just now starting to take him a little bit more sereously because I needed a backup for my Gief. I dont really like the rest of the cast, but Dan is the man. Can I get some matches with you guys so I can learn some Dan-tics? I watch the videos and I’ve been learning combos, but theres something about field expereince that I learn better from.
Yeah nothing like getting a tactic used on you that helps you apply it. Ive learned plenty when fighting other dan players. I never used mk danku cross up on opponents wake up until I played a dan that used it on me and I realized how solid it is. Videos just dont carve a tactic into your head like it will when your actually playing against it.

Dan is extremly hard to use and I give mad props to ANY dan that beats me. My inner low tier self is just begging me to pick up Dan.

He’s not “hard” to use, Gen and Viper are hard to use. Dan is pretty basic in his tool set and the way he works
It’s hard to win with Dan compared to other higher tier characters but that’s what tiers are about, ease of winning

Both from the same guy one after the other for the same match. I felt honored. My Saikyo knocked all the reason out of him.
Luckily I’ve added some skilled players so mostly player matches now, but lately when I go to rank or anything else people are rage quitting my Dan! Even against one Dan player (Dan mirror), he tried to bait his Legendary taunt into his ultra, when it failed dc… other then that still typical bull excuses.
It saddens me to see other Dans DC You’d think people who play as Dan wouldn’t care too much about a loss and all this DCing business is really against the Saikyo spirit
Yes, but sadly there is… Saikyo power is just too strong for some to handle.
