Whats the best you can get from TAC into Sentinel now? Been away from the game since vanilla dropped, and the swag rocket punch TAC stuff doesnt work anymore.

So the higher they pop up from the rocket punch before hard drive, the more likely it is that you won’t get a follow up?

His best TAC is one that involves his fly, unfly, and double jump to land as many normals as possible, like his up TAC:

TAC hit, j. :l:, j. :l:, j.:m:, double jump j. :m:, j. :h:, :qcb: :s:, j. :l: j. :l:, j. :m:, j. :m:, j. :h:, j. :s: (or TAC again)

one thing to note though, is that after a long previous TAC/Combo, (such as Magneto, Doom, or Nova), Rocket Punch :l: will have no hitstun anymore and will pop the opponent out of the combo. Use an OTG assist, A Team Super (with an OTG super like Magneto’s Shockwave, or Beyonzo’s Hail Storm), or just HSF and DHC away.

The only other remedy to this is to use an Air Rocket Punch (either :l: or :m:) and Hard Drive the enemy, and you will recover fast enough to either go for Hard Drive loops, or just Plasma Storm

As far as I know yes, you want them to be hit by the pointy part of the hard drive to reduce the odds of them falling out, and the smaller they are the more precise you have to be with your hard drive timings.

I know I was beaten to this, but I’m not sure if anyone came to this the same way I did. TAC infinite loop, I believe it only works off down TAC, maybe side in some situations.

All I did was j.LH xx fly j.LH xx unfly (delay) j.H straight off the TAC and then repeat the exact same sequence, super easy to time, but I often drop around the 5th loop or so, fixed it by doing a j.M when they seem low.

Important part is to hit j.H as you hit the ground obviously and hold up so you have no landing frames.

is the infinite corner only or can it be done anywhere on the screen?

It can be done both midscreen and corner. Midscreen though, you have to fly around a bit to get to that proper height. (I’m currently trying to get the midscreen variant down)

I just fly forward and then LH lol, seems to work midscreen but it actually is a little difficult, in the corner it’'s stupidly easy once you have it.

If you barely stutter when landing the last j. :h:, when you jump and do the j. :l: :l: for the infinite, they will pop out.

I have an idea I want to test out.

The TAC infinite seems to work by preserving the TAC hitstun state when you hit the j.H really low then rejump. Superjump state has more hitstun than normal jump state so might it be possible for Sent to have a short jump loop off of his relaunch BnB starter by using the glitch technique of landing during his j.H?

Something like:
:s: j.:h: xx fly j.:l: j.:h: xx unfly j.:h: :uf: j.:l: j.:l: j.:h: xx fly j.:l: j.:h: xx unfly j.:h:

If that works it probably won’t go for more than 1 rejump and it might not do more damage than the standard relaunch but it might be really cool looking.

I’ve tried to maximize his non tac combos as much as possible. That is definitely NOT possible.

It doesn’t work because S scales as a motherfucker and the scaling is continuously increasing without the glitch.

can’t sent do close to ground tac though, kind of like how she hulk does hers? maybe that might work

Tried it. He can do it mid-infinite into hyper sentinel force though.

The part where you do unfly into the close to the ground :h: , the one before you re-jump, if you do down exchange instead of that j:h: you get a exchange glitch, they ground bounce and you get to HSF > wtv hyper shenanigans

I noticed something weird, when I was just in training mode, getting down the Sentinal infinite, I accidentally attempted to TAC in stead of flight canceling (i did it too fast) and what happened was that he did a side TAC, but it did not change characters, but reset HIT STUN SCALING and gave me a free WALLBOUNCE from the failed TAC. I was surprised from this, so I attempted to re-create the situation, but was only been able to do it once more.

It’s very similar to the She-Hulk TAC Glitch, but what was weird was that I was able to get a FULL COMBO from it. To those interested, I TAC’d when Sentinel was just inches off the ground.

Is that his best tac combo other than the inf. I killed off the inf like 3 times online and it frustrated me. I got bored halfway through it so I want to settle for something thats still somewhat efficient and ends before my bed time of 6am.

:m: :h: fly :l: :l: :m: :m: :h: unfly :m: double jump :m: :h: :s:, just saw unknown trying to hit this on their breakdown, not sure if this is better than the one co-jones posted but it has fewer :l:'s in it so imma assume it does more damage.

I believe it does more damage and better meter-gain, my question is: is the WHOLE string do-able off any TAC? The one I posted works for both UP and SIDE, but not DOWN.

I have no idea, never bothered practicing TAC combos since Im seriously not a fan of the whole giving my opponent a chance to break out of my combo mechanic.

I personally, have only done them when I’m really desperate for meter (or started a combo from a grab i.e. Sentinel/Nova/Magneto). Aside from that, I basically don’t need it since most (if not) all my BnB’s are self-succicient in meter. Not to mention the amount of damage they do.
