I saw an RE5 pic with Chris in his STARS outfit. That’s cool. Looks like it was the REmake version. Is it unlocked by just beating the game?

The Resident Evil comic that came out this week was very good surprisingly since I didn’t care too much for Wildstorm’s older Resident Evil comics. The story started out in outer space which was quite a surprise, at first I thought I accidentally picked up a Dark Void / Lost Planet comic or something. A Licker and zombies on a space craft, that part had a nice Aliens movie feel going for it. And then we head back to Earth and you get to see the Bio Terrorism that was mentioned in Resident Evil Degeneration and will play a big part no doubt in RE5.

Note that the “refitted controls” do not mean RE4 Wii style play, it just means that you’ll be able to use the nunchuck and wii remote. These are the ports that were already released in Japan.

I’m going to cancel my pre-order for the CE and get the regular editon since I was somehow under the impression that a strategy guide was being included. Plus, I thought the figure included was the new NECA Chris Redfield figure, not some crappy, poorly painted PVC mini-figure. I’m not paying $20.00 for a carrier bag, patch, necklace and a mini figure that will never do me any good.
