I called that, like, 15 pages ago.
Leon hasn’t battled someone who fucking wavedashes between bullets like if were an agent of the Matrix. Chris did, and barely survived to tell about it.
This battle can’t be decided until we see Leon trying to handle the true man of the RE series, Wesker. Just like the MGS series is not about the Snakes, but in fact about Ocelot, the RE games are not about the survivors, but about how, no matter what happens, Wesker wins.
Yep yep. Leon hasn’t fought against “the one” yet. Wesker is that dude. Chris faced three of the absolute worst of RE and managed to live. Lisa Trevor would bitch slap the RE4 cast with her handcuffs and Alexia would tentacle rape the rest. Leon does get props for taking down the fucking man though(even though he had hella help). Birkin was a g.

So I started to play RE Outbreak today…
And I don’t get it at all. 
The brokenness of Leon combined with the roided up Chris would stop Wesker in his tracks.
I guaran-fucking-tee Leon would do better against Wesker than any of the other RE main characters. 
Claire’s alt costume in Code Veronica is automatic win. And she battled that tyrant or whatever on the plane. Yeah!!
You got a link to her alt. costume in Code Veronica, I never actually got to fully play that game, so I’m curious as to how it looks like.
RE5 looks to be good, that’s all I can say, and both Chris and Leon are fucking badass period. Although I like Leon’s hairstyle more, and not only that, but the bitch he’s trailing after Ada is the woman. However, we’ll have to see how Chris is going to level up, because in RE4, Leon was doing some crazy bullshit…and umm…when you fight Krauser at the ruins, he was shown doing matrix bs as well dodging bullets.
At this point you can’t really say who’s more crazy, however since both of them are manly I don’t mind who, me personally I like Leon more, but Chris is fucking ripped, I swear he’s doing some serious Ryu type training, because he’s got the SF poster boys body frame now.
So in RE4, you shoot mexicans on the farm. In RE5, you shoot black people in the jungle. What next? RE6 shooting asians in the library?

Lantis, I’ve played these extensively, LMK what do you need help with; it’s always good for me to see someone pick interest in the Outbreak games, very underrated and overlooked IMO.
And about the Leon issue, he might do a little better than Chris when he got the chance (and barely escaped being turned into a Chris Sandwich), but he would have to use all of his newfound and unfounded McBauerness just to hold off, no chance in hell of taking Da RE Man down single-handedly; Probably they’ll leave that for a multiplayer RE where taking him down is basically the final mission and you need 8 people continually going all berserker barrage against him at the same time with some Plasma Launcher/Linear Launcher/Rail Gun action; considering that just our humble Jill could withstand some rocket launchering straight to her face, I don’t even want to think what will take to take Wesker down. And always remember: If there’s no corpse left, no one died.
I have to show my support for Outbreak as well. I was addicted to that game as if it were an MMO. I even bought the damn $100 PS2 HDD just for that single game (luckily part 2 used it as well later on). I am extremely sad the servers were taken down, and it’s the main reason why I don’t mind paying for/love Xbox Live. Since Microsoft host the game servers, they’re not going to be taken down…so even Xbox1 games are still playable online. As for Sony, the dev’s host their own servers and may take em offline sometime down the line/next generation.
Not trying to turn this into some console war or anything, as I do own all 3 systems and love each respectfully, it’s just I’m soooo sad there is no more RE:Outbreak. Soooo so sad… :sad:
Offline play is not really worth it imo.
Outbreak had a bunch of concepts I loved. The whole virus meter thing should have been in RE from the start, and the weapon creation was awesome to. It’s taken hella long, but the item management is finally in a mainline RE game.
The only thing else they need to carry back over is the hunters breaking weapons. They put fear back in my heart, after code veronica.
I really liked those games. 
This is really strange to me, as in this side of the world, most people value having modded consoles to play dled games a lot more than being able to play in Live with a continuous payment, so almost everyone here has played the japanese demo. (Not me, as I don’t even own a 360… yet!)
Oh, and OsgX: Yeah, that thing about the Hunters-b breaking your weapons elevates them from top (with their head-slicing jump) to McBauer tier in my list. Hell, most File#2 enemies and bosses are harder than in REO. Even the final siege at the RPD could be counted as a boss fight, with zombies in numbers that fall just short of being another Dead Rising.
